"I will be announcing the return of the Kobe Bryant into this seasons starting lineup, pending his return from a San Bernadino committment" said Kupcake to a frenzied crowd of Kobites. "This should not be taken as a dig at Wayne Ellington nor any other current Los Angeles Lakers". Ellington shot a Kobe-like 3-19 in an attempt to keep the Lakers draft pick seeding alive, speculating rumors that Ellington could move into Bryants role sooner rather then later.
"You know Wayne did an admirable job" a smiling Magic Johnson added "but the Kobes adds intangibles like disrupting chemistry, pouting, receiving rigged reffing that are all things that Wayne can learn to add to his present game."
"I've been fighting with my brother over this for the last two months, along with my wanting to extend Kobes contract right here, right now" said a beaming Jeannie Buss. "To have Kobe come back now gives this franchise a real hope that we can draft up. We have been slipping the last week with crucial wins. We need a player of Kobes character, charisma and value system to be inserted into our playoff holes."
