As I was watching I thought to my self "both teams take too many possessions off, they heat check too much, throw caution to the wind". They do. They put together some great runs, but then they have these extended lapses at both ends where someone rushes a 3 or does something stupid, and at the defensive end you see these guys just stand around then say "my bad" when their guy scores. That won't fly in the playoffs.

Most Spurfans either make excuses for it, deflect to other players or refer to it as "drawing fouls" or "exaggerating contact" as if that's not exactly the same thing as flopping.
there have been a lot of known floppers... manu and kurt thomas come to mind as spurs. parker always seems to fall on layup attempts. battier, fisher, turiaf, etc.
but i draw the line when players seem entirely dependant on flopping. manu was a huge flopper but how many times did he actually end up with 16+ FTA's. i hate when "elite scorers" score 30+ points when they only made 8 FG's, for example

If there's a foul and it's exaggerated, that not flopping. Flopping is pretending you were fouled. Ref Ronnie has explained it before. The NBA doesn't fine for exaggerating contact, just for flopping.

I agree with this. Vaughan, Thomas and Horry all sold zero contact far more often than Manu did. Manu used to do it to draw attention to legit contact, but it backfired because he got such a reputation as a flopper and he stopped getting calls, so he stopped being so dramatic about it. Cutting his hair probably helped a lot for his rep.
