Thumbs up.
raider21 was trolling, his list is not serious duh...
the others are hoops, cat meow, BG .... so yeah most of ST fans know for a while Kawhi's value, most have him first or second in their list
but but I'm the only one who was right
![]()
Thumbs up.
and you are a got
your thread le was about value not best
in terms of value for the team there is nothing wrong putting Tim first...
We can bump more threads and blast more posters if you want?
anyone who says he is 2nd is a big big 3 mainstream fans, IMO..
way to nostalgic to say the words "kawhi is the best player"..
guess it's hard for them to accept a player being the best player if he's not part of the big 3...
Sad how player fans can ruin a player's overall reputation in the legaue.
Just because somebody doesn't have Kawhi #1 on their list = They must hate Kawhi
Player fan logic
Not saying they hate Kawhi..
Just not a good basketball mind, IMO...
Way too much of a player fan to see the game the way it is, IMO.
Btw, Manu has always been my favorite spur..As evidence with my previous posts
1) MVParker, head of the snake, offensive scorer and motor behind the offense
2) Kiwi, top scorer, top defender, Spurs main source of youth and athleticism
3) Timmay, the rock of team and defensive big
4) Verde, can go nova from 3 and the teams 2nd best wing defender
5) Bobo, versatility matchup nightmare and 2nd units best facilitator
6) Splitter cannot overstate how his presence improves our team D; is perfecting his finesse around the hoop game
7) Manu usually the 2nd unit is a disaster when he is out, and enforcer (ask Monte and Westbrook)
8) Peppermint Patty can go Nova when he is on, and defensive irritant
9) Banger athletic 4th big
10) CoJo can facilitate play defense and improving his penetration and slashing on offense
11) Ferrarri, outside shot maker but if Patty and Verde are on fire isn't as important
12) Red Mamba see previous comments
13) Errors 5th big that goes up strong offensively (when he holds on to the ball) which is more than I can say for Tiago
14) Reggie it appears Pop values him over...
15) Slo-Mo who is MIA
And Timmy is my favorite Spur of all time....and has a legitimate right to be ranked #1 in the "value to the team" list.
My favorite this year has been Kawhi. He's our most consistent player on offense and defense. Just don't see the need to get all butthurt when somebody says that Timmy or Manu is more valuable to the team than Kawhi.
And don't call me a player fan. I'm a Spurs fan through and through. I could care less if Matt Bonner or Jeff Ayres was our leading scorer. If by some miracle those two became great players overnight and they led us to a championship (Errors winning FMVP) I would be totally fine with that scenario.
Parker over kawhi. What a ing joke.
Just try shutting up for a change.
Say timmy is a better player at this point is as good as saying wade was the better player than lebron during the heat 2013 run because he's always been there...![]()
I wonder about chumps list. Make my day.
Did you read the OP? Of course you did....you wrote it. This is not a better player argument. This is a "more valuable" thread.
And I hate to say this....but I totally agree with you. Kawhi Leonard (to me and you) is the most valuable to this team. Again, only you and dabom get all upset and throw a tantrum like a little girl when somebody disagrees with your opinion.
It's borderline emo tbh....
And you still haven't answered my question. Who are all these Kawhi haters?
Saying that Tim (and apa...check your OP. Even you have Timmy-Kawhi as 1a and 1b) is more valuable to the team does not cons ute hate.
Saying something about Kawhi's dead dad is hate. And I want to know the posters who say like that.....
1. Pendergraph
2. Ayers
3. Everyone else tied.
Tier One
Kawhi
Timmy
Tier Two
Green
Manu
Splitter
Boris
Tier Three
Enrique
Paddy
CoJo
Baynes
Probably exactly correct. Although I think a case could currently be made for Manu to drop a space or two with Tier Two. Splitter's recent play has been the biggest difference maker imo.
agree 100%
When this thread started, December, Duncan was the mvp. Since kawhi came back he's been number one. So....
Kudos to apo for predicting kawhi would be number one when the team got healthy.
Hiss for not seeing Tony Parker getting back in shape.
The new list:
Kawhi, splitter, Duncan, Parker, green, gino, bobo, Marco, millzz.
So this is really an Ioss for apo, two wrong takes, one right one. Par for this supposedly brilliant basketball mind.
Except thread is about value not who is the best player in 2014
"
Brazil vagina is bleeding right now, for some reason.
Leonard is the best player thus he's the most valuable. Heck Bobo and SPlitter would probably finish games against GSW.![]()
Yeah I can see an argument for him being last in Tier Two. Manu made the second unit go earlier in the season but since Diaw got off cruise control Manu has relinquished some of those responsibilities tbh.
Not wanting to join in personal attacks but while Kiwi leads the Spurs in scoring and is by far our best defensive player, I can imagine games where Kiwi can go off and the Spurs still lose the game. However for me when Tony is on, he not only scores but he is facilitating for the entire team. I find it harder to see a game where Tony is hitting his shot penetrating and passing out and isn't a total liability on defense where the Spurs lose, unless the team is just giving it up on defense. If Kiwi went nova shutting down the opposing teams best player scores say 30+ points the Spurs could still lose. If Tony goes nova he not only scores 25+ but by virtue of his position has 15+ assists that Spurs team just seems harder to beat. Not that I think TP is a better player but PG is a more important position to a teams success.
