We've been through this before Blake. Do you not remember?
Did God tell those guys that they were worthy of anointing?
I might need a flowchart to figure this out.
We've been through this before Blake. Do you not remember?
Don't know. Still have to read more on the subject.
All I see here is you making up as you go so I have no clue what re ed point you're trying to make. Just get to it.
One religion definitely has the violence aspect cornered, why do refuse to admit that?
What have I made up? Are you talking out of your ass now? Do you not remember when we discussed old testament law last time? I'm sure you do but are being willfully ignorant.
What it comes down to is that at some point a person decides he is carrying out the direct will of God. I have no doubt that some really believed that God spoke directly to them, but I also have no doubt that a guy like Verne Howell thought the same thing. Whether the person's initial intentions are benign or not, the end result is some form of control over other people with all the problems that can arise from it.
I don't know what you're specifically referring to so fir the third time, just get to it.
You're making all sorts of up about what the Bible says and which parts are ok and which parts you can toss in the trash. Complete ass talking.
Because it doesn't.
Liberal athiest agenda, tbh..
"All religions are bad, there isn't one that is by default less evil than others!"

No I'm not. Post what I am making up.
Everything I have posted is from the Bible.
Nobody said that.
Thunder meth agenda
I posted a direct quote from Jesus that you said didn't count. You're making up your own rules.
But bad people exist everywhere, not just religion. I'm sure if a scientist said drink this and this even though it's poison many people would do it. That's why it all comes back to the Bible. Reading it and studying it carefully will let a person know if what they're being taught is right or wrong.
Of course it counts. I'm saying you don't know what it means or what the context is. I can pick and book and take a verse out of it and make it seem like something else. That is what you are doing. The Bible doesn't work like that. You have to study and read it carefully to understand it. Which you obviously don't.
Cognitive dissonance, it goes against the dogma
Genesis 9:6
6 Anyone shedding man’s blood, by man will his own blood be shed, for in God’s image He made man.
Exodus 21:12
12 “Anyone who strikes a man so that he dies must be put to death.
Numbers 35:31
31 You must take no ransom for the life of a murderer who is deserving to die, for he should be put to death without fail.
Deuteronomy 19:11-13
11 “But if a man hated his fellow man and he was waiting to attack him and he fatally wounded him and he died, and the man has fled to one of these cities,12 the elders of his city should then summon him from there and deliver him into the hand of the avenger of blood, and he must die. 13 You should not feel sorry for him, and you must remove the guilt of innocent blood out of Israel, so that it may go well for you.
Murder was wrong even in the old testament.
You're sure? The whole point of science is to question people like that and demand proof from them. That kind of stuff doesn't fly in most organized religions. At a certain point, it just comes down to "because I [God] said so."How would that tell you what was OK to drink? That's why it all comes back tot he Bible. Reading it and studying it carefully will let a person know if what they're being taught is right or wrong.
But all kind of killing was sanctioned and encouraged, right?
Most ordinary people do not question science. They have faith in them and take their word for it.
What? That was an example.
Killing occurred but remember that God had chosen people back then. He had land that belonged to his people.
The proof is readily available and do ented and repeatable.
How do you know your water is safe to drink? Did the Bible tell you? What? That was an example.
