Dude, don't buy what they are selling. He wants you to on Kawhi and be divisive. They aren't fans of any of our players no matter what they claim.
For real? You think Kool Bob needs help to on Kawhi? The guy who called him re ed kid in every thread last season?

He's always insulting Kawhi but...good for you and your double standard!

Yah it's sad/embarrassing. What makes it worse is Kawhi is actually a really good player.
Sure? You said last week he's just a really good defender.

I don't recall that. If that is the case then I am mistaken. My point as to their intent still stands.

Pop his limited pretty much every player he ever coached for the benefit of the team. Prime Tim Duncan had the most complete offensive game for a big man you'll ever see. In his first MVP season where he averaged 25.5ppg he only took 18.3 shots per game which was his career high in field goal attempts.

Compare that to others players whose highest FG attempts in one season: Kobe 27.2, Shaq 21.1, Jordan 27.8, LBJ 23.1, Robinson 20.7, Dirk 20.0, Hakeem 21.5 just a few examples. So yes, numbers wise and for the benefit of the team Pop does hold players back in regards to shots per game.

the only person that actually mentions kawhi sucking is TheGreat got who is another known troll
Who are all these "Kawhi haters" that CN, apal, and dabom are talking about? I want names.....

TGY and hater.....who else? 95% of the posters here love the guy, want him to get the max, want him to stay a Spur for life, and will admit that he's our most important/best player.

Again, I want names. @ the people who think the majority of people on this site hates Kawhi.
Well, some of those who call him role player, just good defender, not a great player, can't be a good offensive player, he has a fragile mind, he's a big pussy, re ed kid...

TGY, hater, Hoops, PingPong, DMC, Kool Bob Love, Capt Bringdown, SASdinasty!, ducks, SnakeBoy, N0 LyF3 ScRuB, tholdren...

Spurs system is making him a max player, dude won a FMVP, a ring and is in position to win another one during Spurs tenure... Silly argument to say Spurs / Pop is holding his development

He is developing pretty good tbh
Agree with you, he had the opportunities to win everything in San Antonio last season. But you should admit the Spurs system isn't designed for an all around SF takes offensive protagonism, his offensive development doesn't seem a priority of this team.

LOL Pop didn't limit anyone. The talent level did. We had too many all stars. I mean if you have an all time big, maybe you give him all the shot? You want a role player to be alpha over duncan? You are out of your mind. This team has been Duncan first until around 2012 when Parker and then later the system got keys to the offense. And then 2014 when Kawhi, green, and splitter became better than duncan on defense.

Kawhi has made amazing strides every year. No one knows where he would end up on another team but it's hard to imaigine a better result than with the leagues/ best coach, best shooting coach, best teammates, all time great players, and the coyote.

Kawhi has in fact been mega spoiled as a spur.

This has nothing to do with how the team played. Obviously Leonard is a team player like Manu and tim so he didn't whine and sulk when Pop limited him offensively in the last two years..Instead he played the best basketball he can.

The point of this thread is that prior to this year, people thought the system helped him score 13ppg..While more knowledgeable fans knew he was a 20 ppg in a system that doesn't limit him offensively.

even this year Pop still limits him.
I guess this was posted after the Spurs played against Orlando when the Spurs clinched play-off berth BUT LEONARD was not the best player, Baynes scored 18 & Manu 13. And APA..9 is sulking....Pop chose to sit Kawhi after 20min with only 10 pts & 7 rbds...

That Duncan 1fga, Manu 6 fga, & TP 4 fga vs Denver was a surprise.

Kawhi your turn....Fire! Shoot while you can...in the 1st half (10fga?)
Pop might sit you in the 4th. LOL
