rip westbrook
he's basically iverson with more hops at this point![]()
tbh, half the 'star' players in the league would've mailed it in already with some BS, made up "injury"... but Russ won't hide or give up. At some point you gotta wonder if Scotty is just going to have to shut him down.
its such a privilege to watch him play
for good or bad, he's certainly a prideful guy...
Now if the Pels would get their heads out of the asses...
This is OKC we're talking about
Anus Cancer tbh
You are right, it takes a lot of courage to shoot 5/20 and keeps doing it next game tbh... Very kobesque... Such a warrior![]()
Nothing like Kobe, tbh... Kobe would've come up with some mysterious "shoulder injury" a week after KD had surgery... you would have 6 stories on ESPN how "he's been battling the injury all season long, he wanted to keep playing but his teammates had to stop him from going into the court" interspersed with some Kirby quotes like "This pain? This is nothing.", etc...
That okc vs Memphis game was tough to watch. Just bad basketball with no energy from the crowd. Both teams are garbage right now. It's a shame really, if those teams were healthy and playing well, they could have given gsw a hard time in the playoffs.
They have talent, but they're not a top-tier team as it is. The guy can only do so much when the playbook is basically "high pick and roll" or "push it!"
I don't particularly like Westbrook. I think he's a headcase, but the guy is ridiculously talented and plays hard. Gotta respect that. If he had high BBIQ the league would be ed. Luckily, that's not the case.
Does you want the Thunder to make the playoff? Who you prefer facing Golden State in the first round, OKC or Nola? Who will challenge more?
^^ wut?
^^it's better that the warriors will work some before advancing the first round, cause we might finsh 5 and face them in second round... Who will give them better fight thunder or New Orleans?
he was flamed out a month ago, now he's like the last survivor still swinging the sword in a lost battle.
Can't believe they just gave him player of the month over curry. He averaged 6 turnovers a game and 40% FG and 10-6 record
Meanwhile curry shot 48/51/97 on 24/9/4 and 67%TS in 32 minutes (27/9/5 per36) and hit 76 threes, which shattered the record for most threes ever in a month (62). All of this while his team went 16-1
Oh ok so it's ok to chuck like kobe if you don't hide behind injuries...
dat ST double standard![]()
Bad take tbh..
Except we're not talking about poor shot selection, which is something I actually called him out on...
Although the whole 'willingness to play to the end' doesn't really fit your agenda, so I can see why you would want to deflect, tbh...
what's bad about it, tbh?
