    That has very little to do with the brilliant legacy of NC State () basketball. It primarily is due to:

    - His team's miraculous '83 win (because they were underdogs, because no one ever expects NC State to win )

    - His inspirational speech at that awards show

    - Cancer

    Goddamn....I'm not dismissing NC State's credentials. For the 3rd time....I would love to have the success that NC State has had.

    I'm just implying that NC State is nowhere near UNC and Duke. Is that the end of the world? No...it isn't. 95% of all basketball programs are nowhere near them either. You being a NC State just get all butt-hurt because you prob hear this everyday from the people you know.

    I don't agree that it's "nowhere near". They don't have much more success than us at all. They just have a great basketball rivalry. All that "success" has led them to only 2 more les.. And that's after Stste nosedived for almost a decade after Jimmy V
