Yeah...I don't really care much for Duke, but damn, Coach K is the man.

Nah he knows he has it good at Dook.
What he really needs to do is stop being an egotistical got and step down from Team USA so Pop can rightfully take over. Why does this got think he can stay on for multiple Olympics anyway?
They have like 8 McDonald's All-Americans on their roster. Kentucky has 9. Nobody else has more than 1.
Not really that impressive tbh.
Pop will never be an Olympic coach. His character and demand for excellence is too much for gots like Lebron to handle.
He was Larry Brown's right hand man. Had a short stint as HC before Coach K jumped the line. Now this egotistical got refuses to step down after winning gold (like other coaches before him have done).
Not that impressive when you get handed the easiest bracket and every call from the refs every year. Dook should win the national le every year with all the help they're given.
Didn't watch the game, all I'm hearing about is that the refs were heavily favoring Duke..accurate?
Well coach k then.![]()
LeBron has publicly endorsed Pop as the Olympic coach, though![]()
You still got to coach them and most are inexperienced, so you have to make-up for that against the teams that do have experience.

Pop is nationally recognized as the best coach. It's his turn to run Team USA. Too bad this Polish got is so self absorbed he probably won't give up the HC position until he's in a coffin.
Da ? Beisbol?I'm a Jose Abreu fan, and if you paid attention, the scoreline was 10-1. Who scored that one run by jacking the ball into the crowd?
Abreu![]()
Sure they coach but I wouldn't call it impressive. NBA talent usually wins out over experience in college bball. I wouldn't call anything Callipari does impressive either tbf.
Abreu will be a great Montreal Expo in a few years.

Fair result.
Duke was the better team tonight.
Coach K is turning into a rat face though.
Its quite frightening.
Thank you amigo. Masterpiece by Coach K.
Bandwagon got.
You could argue K failed twice with the one & dones: Rivers & Parker. This is a giant resurgence for the Program. Another 5 years

Probably the worst officiated 2nd half I've ever seen in a college basketball game, tbh. Was pulling for Duke (even though I really just wanted to see a good game), mostly cause I was getting tired of Wisconsin getting all the hype throughout the tournament and seeing Kamisnky's mug everywhere. But, as the 2nd half went on, I almost started to pull for Wiscy after they were blatantly getting jobbed by the officials, tbh. It was almost like it was a completely different officiating crew the 2nd half. Countless blown calls in Duke's favor, especially in the last 10 minutes of the 2nd half. Blown charge call, Winslow's blatant step out of bounds no-call which resulted in 2 pts for Duke, the ball clearly going off of Winslow's fingers, etc. Multiple blown calls that kept Duke alive and then sealed it for them down the stretch. Wisconsin definitely the bed too in the last 3 minutes, and still glad Duke won overall, tbh, but damn that was hard to watch, imvho.
College Basketball usually has the Jekyll & hyde Halves. Having 4 Quarters vs 2 Halfs would probably improve this but I love how quickly CBB games move.
I felt Wisconsin got a little more calls in the 1st Half and Duke many more in the 2nd Half
