What was it that the spurs front office saw in Kawahi and how do they do it again. Imagine us with two players of Leonard's ability and rotating them into the game and always having one on the floor at all times.
Was it Kawahis work ethic, being a gym rat in college?

I wonder if we would've drafted Gobert had he not gotten sniped the pick before us in 2013...can you imagine if we had him learning under Tim? He was such an amazing pick in the late 20s.

He's not Kawhi and I do like CoJo, but could have had another good wing albeit lesser player from the same draft in Butler. Or Pacers could have just held onto Kawhi and had him and PG13 on the wing.

They'll find success the way they always do...draft moldable, selfless and smart players that fit the system. I would say they've had terrible luck recently with foreign talent lately, so maybe they should continue the domestic trend or bring the foreigner stateside sooner rather than later.
