    From Clutchfans:

"Spurs on a back to back having to play OKC the previous night and no Splitter.
I fully expect the Rockets to blow the F outta them in their building?
Anything less will be disappointing "

    "
We about to whoop dat ass"

    "
the spurs we about to go 2-0 the next 2 games"

"We match up well with the Spurs. Two Step Sweep."

    "S
hould be an easy Rockets win.
Anything less than a blowout and I will NOT be impressed. In fact, it'll be disappointing not to blow out these fools who are on a back to back with no SPlitter
Oh and remember they have NO superstar but we have 2 superstars and you need superstars to win it all. And coaching doesn't matter
    So we have no excuses."

Spurs fans at the game better get LOUD tonight so that we can send a message to these smug fans from H-town.

    "2 superstars and no coaching"

Since when has this been the recipe for success in the playoffs?

^This has to be a troll post... I mean, the Spurs didn't have a superstar last year either, and they won it all. No way anyone is this stupid. And then to go on to say that coaching doesn't matter, I'm going with troll post.

Also Houston barely squeaked out a win at OKC while we curbstomped them. We might lose at their place Friday but we aren't ing losing tonight.

Don't care what they have to say. Spurs could lose tonight it's very possible. We'll see who comes out on top come playoff time.

No reason to believe the Rox fans shouldn't be excited right now. They've launched into the national discussion with Harden MVP mentions. There is a napoleon complex feeling in Houston with regard to craving dominance in their sports teams. Taking wind out of their sails with a blowout win, would be nice; however, counterproductive to what's most important. Saving bodies, limiting minutes and continuing to resemble championship basketball for the final four is all that matters.

Come on, SpursTalk -- you know this better than anyone: the Thunder, and their multiple Finals appearances in the last 5 years, are testament to the fact that all you need to win in the NBA is 2 superstars and that coaching doesn't matter.

i never understood why they think they match up so well with us. 3/4 games last year they won, I'm fairly certain we were shorthanded and I think Kawhi missed 2 or 3 of those games. Kawhi out against a team with an explosive wing scorer is like an automatic L dam near. This year some how we won w/o TP & Kawhi, but Green played well and it was the night Mills came back and brought energy. If we play like we have been though, we should be able to handle them.

Kawhi is obviously better than one of there superstars and holds his own against the other. I rather have Kawhi than either of them tbh.

I'm here in Houston and listen to the local talk radio on my rediculous 1hr. commute. Trust me, the guys who know what they are talking about fear the Spurs. Kawhi getting a ton of respect and they think he can really affect Harden. They live and die with Harden, and they want no part of the Spurs.

I say this admitting I'm a big Texans and Astros fan, but definitely not the Rockets. The fact remains is that Houston fans have no business talking junk in ANY sport. I don't care about the two Rockets les in the mid 90s. Houston is the sports chokingest city on the planet. Forget tonight, just wait until the playoffs and watch the Rockets flop again. Just like a typical Houston team. And don't get me started on their college teams!

It's one of the most common takes you hear from casual fans... "talent wins, coaches are glorified babysitters, etc."

Houston is our dark horse, so far in history Spurs never won playoff series against them, I'm also afraid of Harden, we need to be humble...
