Every fan base has ' fans. I'm confident we beat them, but they are a tough matchup for us, so wouldn't be surprised if we dropped this one on a b2b and no Tiago.

I was at the game earlier this season when we beat them at home. And that was with Dwight playing and Corey Brewer went off on us, making like 5 or 6 three's iirc. We still pulled it out. As far as playoffs go, I'd like to avoid Houston if possible, just cause they're not our best matchup and Harden will love at the line. But if we do play them, I'm confident we'd beat them.

    "S
hould be an easy Rockets win.
Anything less than a blowout and I will NOT be impressed. In fact, it'll be disappointing not to blow out these fools who are on a back to back with no SPlitter
Oh and remember they have NO superstar but we have 2 superstars and you need superstars to win it all. And coaching doesn't matter
    So we have no excuses."

It's a barometer game for them, despite how good their season has been. Even the Rockets players and McHale have been talking about this game.

Which I think it's good news for the Spurs. If we manage to whoop that ass like we did against GSW and OKC, I think it could easily mess with their heads.

I was reading OKC went on this downward spiral they're on after we handed them that 40 point loss a couple weeks ago. Then GSW lost to the Pelicans after we drubbed them. The effects on a team's confidence after those kind of beatdowns can't be underestimated, unless you're the Blazers, who just start ting on their own pants when the playoffs are getting near. Unlike the Spurs, these teams are constantly trying to prove themselves, because they've not reached the pinnacle yet.

For the Spurs, this is a good test for our depth, seeing we will be shorthanded again.

Houston is our dark horse, so far in history Spurs never won playoff series against them, I'm also afraid of Harden, we need to be humble...
    humility.

    harden.

    houston.

We are the got-dayum CHAMPS--they have done nothing for two ing decades.

If anyone needs to be humble, it's the charlatans in h-town.

I say this admitting I'm a big Texans and Astros fan, but definitely not the Rockets. The fact remains is that Houston fans have no business talking junk in ANY sport. I don't care about the two Rockets les in the mid 90s. Houston is the sports chokingest city on the planet. Forget tonight, just wait until the playoffs and watch the Rockets flop again. Just like a typical Houston team. And don't get me started on their college teams!

Yep, as long as we don't lose both this is a no-lose game tonight. If they beat us close or even by 10, it's a SEGABABA anyway. If we beat them by a bit, it's pretty telling that we're the team no one wants to play in the playoffs, even over GSW.

And if we stomp them... well, let's just say they would have to treat the game on Friday like a playoff game.

I can imagine what McHale and the rest of them said but about Harden...? He said something like "The best player in the NBA? It's me and nobody on the Spurs team can guard me"?

Damn the only thing I care about these games against the Rox is seeding, if the Spurs were in better position... them and play 48 minutes Beli and Ayres...and "forget" Kawhi on the bench all last quarter like last season.

This from the fanbase that wanted McHale's head on a e after Portland waxed their asses in the first round last year before getting exposed as being nothing more than a jump-shot-happy starting five.

God damn some of those people are dumb

    Spurs Since ASG:
    17-7
    .708

    Rockets Since ASG:
    17-7

Let's just completely ignore point differential Spurs are demolishing teams. We've had double digit leads in 21 straight games, and we've won our last 9 games by an average margin of almost 20 points. People in there acting like Houston has been just as hot as us lately.

Like how that person ignored the fact that we lost 4 straight out of the break and that our three losses after that were all garbage (NY and Cleveland especially) and the Mavs was a second half meltdown.

Spurs now up to 6 point favorites, from 5 and 5.5 yesterday after the OKC massacre.

Depending on if Parker can suit up, PG depth is going to be huge. CoJo can't carry the load for all 48 minutes.

Mills bout to wake the up and go in on that ass tbqh

"Rockets don't get any credit from the media If we beat them, ESPN will blame it on the Spurs playing a b2b "

Idk Parsons got them a lot of attention for blowing coverage on Lillard in Game 6 last year tbh
