I don't hate Parker, but if he's not putting up 17 first half points he's borderline useless. When he's scoring at will, he can be a good floor spacer because he can finish in the paint and has a streaky jump shot. His defense is sub-par compared to CoJo, Mills, Green, and Leonard. And Parker's captaincy looked a of a lot better in 2007 when the Spurs weren't the assist machine they are now. Boris does more or less what Parker does, but is much better at facilitating the offense than Tony has been recently.
Parker's still a high caliber player and as we've seen in this first half, he can still carve a defense up if he wants. It was only last year that he waxed Dallas' ass in Game 7. But his game looked a of a lot better about five or six years ago.

Hopefully no more lazy passes in the 2nd half. Those are the easiest four/five point swings for Houston every time.

Parker just gets streaky and he makes me nervous when he accepts too much of the burden. Obviously, offensively he's showing up but the Spurs still need spacing and if Leonard and Green aren't doing , the Rox will close down the lane in a hurry.
