To me, it's impressive that two all time franchise greats in the last couple of days had no problems basically admitting they're 2nd bananas now. They'll still go out there and play hard as ever, and obviously be an important part of the team, but the team belongs to somebody else, and they're just another (important) piece in a larger puzzle. Speak volumes about their humbleness, maturity and appreciation for what they have. Truly a special group.

Who the are you? got. And I'm not about to go on a splits type meltdown because some loser called me out. And if they laugh it's because they can't handle the truth.

Only reason you respond with such vigor is because it is true.

Meh, not at all. Still don't see why everyone one came with personal insults when it was a Parker thread. Seems insecure.

Rob and Apol are like Harlem's autistic little brothers.

I don't know what's worse, the possibility that all these TP haters are Harlem's alts, that he uses with watered down takes.. Or the possibility that grown men follow around another grown man on a forum regurgitate his takes.
Or people just happen to agree with each other on quality basketball takes.

It's more than impressive, it's something that just doesn't happen with superstars. Even Shaq was talking about it and saying it's something you just don't see, he even admitted he wasn't able to do it.

Yeah that's why he came out firing out tonight. Actions speak louder than words. He ignored Kawhi a good chunk tonight and even Sean called him on it. Good to see he knows who his daddy is though.

Completely agree with that statement my friend but humbleness, maturity and appreciation is really something with "lack of" in this forum. (Not speaking about you !)

It's a commitment to winning above all else.

I believe Tony Parker and I believe that he understands that while there are times that it will be crucial that he be aggressive and score -- early last night was one of those times, since nobody else could find the range and if Parker hadn't gotten those first 11 points, the Spurs might have been buried quickly -- there will also be times when he needs to use his playmaking abilities to create opportunities for his teammates.

People can cast stones at TP all they want, but when it's mattered to the team, Tony has (in a variety of ways) acted in ways other than his own self-interest to be a good teammate. I've never understood the need to see Tony vs. some other Spur as an either/or proposition -- dating back to the Manu v. Tony days.

The Spurs are where they are because of Duncan AND Parker AND Ginobili AND Leonard AND others. Tony's statement is a testament to his understanding of that truth -- one that seems beyond the grasp of a lot of Spurs fans.
