Some barriers are not meant to be broken. Will the MMA ever allow a woman to fight a man, of course not. HS boys are superior to "world class" women in track. There are simply things women have no business around. An NFL football game is one of them.

Avante reminds me of low IQ Fred Flintstone with the 1960s MadMen chauvinistic mentality.
Blake reminds me of a little kid on his parents computer all excited that he can bug the grown ups while safely hidden away.
I guarantee if something happens to our female ref, it will be looked at totally different than if it had been a similiar situation with a male ref. For a league all worried about safety this makes no sense of any kind.

what happens to refs never matter. so they fall in a pile. she's in better shape than about 50% of these old NFL refs with pot-guts

Would they hire an old lady? And what happens when she does get old? A granny reffing NFL games? Can they let her go at 55 while keeping the same age males? What kid wants his mom reffing NFL games?
History will be made when an NFL game is reffed by a Tampoon wearing referee.

this is why they have a fitness evaluation, which she passed. again, she has called NFL games before, and college games. clearly its not an issue

Why do we need to know about female officials at all if it's a non issue? And no nothing was made about Flores being hispanic. There was a big deal made out of Doug Williams being the first black QB to win a SB.

I think it's more about the simple minded people will ignore all the reasons it makes no sense. Too simple to take into consideration her periods, her size, the distraction the only woman out there will have, pregnancy.
i'm sure she wouldn't be on the field if she was pregnant. you are raising points that have nothing to do with anything. you mention her size, yet we've been over the fact that they have a fitness evaluation, and that she has already called NFL games and NCAA games without issue. she'll be fine.
You do know women do get pregnant and not know it for a time, right? Now what if during that time she gets ran over? You do know about a womans moods during that time of month, right?

what if a female in another sport, like figure skating... is pregnant and doesn't know about it? same situation as the one you posed for an NFL ref, but in another sport. by your logic, no women should be figure skaters because it could be dangerous during the early stages of pregnancy
