I don't remember one this big in a while, usually the Spurs are set this late in the year on their seeding and getting ready to rest guys or in don't give a damn mode. This one will go down to the wire for seeding like the 09 season did (Last day I remember).
Spurs are playing great but I agree I don't see them winning this game tonight. I hope I am wrong.
An exclusive pic of Kawhi Leonard watching Stephen Curry's performance last night:

It's awesome that he's getting recognized by the national media.
BIIIIIIIG game tonight. Can't decide whether to leave work early or work late and watch the entire game here. o_o
Eastern Time? WTF? BILL!!! Goddam it. SAVE US!!!!!
link man
Rockets win tbh. At this point I kinda want the Spurs to get the 5 seed.
If the Spurs win this one big and on the road, the league truly is ed tbh.
Unfortunately, I think the Rockets win....
Sorry man. You can't stop the claw. When the claw is hungry it feasts. You can't tell the big banger not to bang. Pop will mess with rotations, Tony will hog the ball, but the force is too strong. The stone is rolling. The blood is in the water. The call to battle was sounded. 2 seed or death!
Spurs on a mission. Confidence riding high and KL is playing like an MVP.
I guess someone beat me to the Game Thread, but I'm sure the Spurs will keep on winning.
Just got back from the hospital (Mom's having surgery this week. So got to cart her around for tests.)

I hope all is well
I hope everything works fine for you Mom during the surgery and if we win this game you could start the next game threads, or the playoffs anyway.
Thanks man. I think she'll be fine. She's got hip replacement on Monday, pretty common surgery these days.
Shout to your mom. She da real MVP.
There is much more pressure on the Rockets tonight. If the Spurs win this game, they have seized utter control over the western conference psychologically. Going from 7th to 2nd within a few weeks and beating all the best teams in the process would leave the entire league terrified. If the Rockets win, nothing really changes. We still beat them convincingly two days ago, and still won 9 out of 10 games. And the Spurs would be fine with a 5th or 6th place finish, given the matchups they would face. There would be no need for panic at all.
So, as Spurs fans, we can just relax and enjoy the game, while Rockets fans can only pray that their team isn't fading into the playoffs.
Thanks Mike! I appreciate it. I think all will be good.
Looking forward to plenty of game threads in the playoffs!![]()
