1920's NFL has nothing to do with the conversation, but kudos for you trying to change the topic.

The difference is, the whole god thing is completely spiritual. It's a debate between faith/belief vs evidence. The question of a female ref has nothing to do with belief or faith. You also have to account for changes in time. A few hundred years ago, EVERYBODY in western civilization believed in a god. now, atheism is on the rise. 100 years ago, women couldn't vote. times change, people adapt. its a progression

I concur.

My objection to this though, has nothing to do with the gender of the official. But rather the common sense of it. Man, woman, whichever...somebody that small could literally killed or paralyzed out there.

Of course, if the NFL set a size stipulation and said only women at least 5'7" and 165 lbs. can officiate, for example...then N.O.W. would file a lawsuit quicker than we can say Gloria Allred.

Foolish move by the NFL all around.

What happens when she takes her first hit and gets hurt? People need to stop being Politically Correct and stop the nonsense. Yes.. it’s great women are included in the sport as refs. But does it make sense? Is she more in danger of getting hurt that an old guy? I’ll call it a wash. But she is “NO WHERE” Near physically comparable to the men playing in the NFL. At least when a male refs gets run over, hit, it’s like shake it off. Can you imagine what the media is going to do the first time she is in the wrong place at the wrong time? You don’t think the payers on the field aren’t going to notice where she is and be extra careful? And if they aren’t? How will the media treat that first player that trucks her.

Let me say this....

There is a good chance after the first couple of games this....women ref out there.....which will probably be mentioned will die out and she just fades like all the other refs, nobody caring at all.

But.....there is always the potential for any ref to get hurt in a game. We see it every single season and will see it in 2015. If this 145 pound lady gets squashed on a football field it will not be handled like it would if one of the men got hurt. The question of just why her involvement was allowed will be an issue.

I don't wanna see this lady get hurt, I know a lot of you are so immature you don't get that, to you little punks it's... that....which is so childish. Then it's...."how about the MMA"...haha!!!!!! How many lady fighters run a 4.4 and how many weigh over 300 pounds. And they don't get hit from behind when not expecting it.
