2 pts 2 boards. 3 Asst 0 steals. Just a routine quiet night. We have come to expect this. Tony is a role player.
Disappointing night from him. No idea why he struggled so much against a 40 yr old Jason Terry. Thankfully Patty got his together and saved the day like in game 5
now see the smart posters were using El nono's thread to talk about parkers but the short bus had to dumb it down a bit cause anything more than simple stats is too hard![]()
Still don't know how we won with TP and Green going gutless. Oh yeah, Tim mother ing Duncan!
Him and Danny were both off tonight...combined for 2 points on 1/14 shooting.
He was afraid Terry would punch him in the and thus render him impotent. Can't happen to the horn dog, tbh.
Spurs still won in perhaps one of the toughest arenas to win at, over the refs and anything they threw at us, which speaks volumes about this team's depth, tbh...
TP and Danny were both quiet, Kawhi had a subpar game by his recent standards.... And yet spurs still win.
Yes he plays the role of "our best PG"
I will again ask, who do you want at PG?
That brings his average over the last 2 games to:
14.5 PTS / 3.5 APG / 3.0 RPG / 1.0 TO on 56% shooting in 26 MPG.
Not a bad 2 game stretch for such limited minutes.
Every player on this team outside of Kawhi and occasionally Duncan are role players, tbh, it's just the way the team is set up..being a scoring option/facilitator like Ginobili and Parker doesn't exclude them from being role players..
The Spurs of 2014 and 2015 are the deepest team in the history of the league, they are versatile as ..blanketing 1 guy doesn't affect this team..
Luckily for Timmy, Banes and Patty
Tim scored 2 baskets on Wednesday. Was he gutless then? No, he just had an off night.
Lol, Parker is a scoring "option" even though he has like 7 of the Spurs highest 10 scoring games this season and is the second leading scorer and leading assist man on the team.
That was the joke.
Green shut down Harden. Honestly can't remember Harden hitting a single shot when Green was on him. Don't group him with Rique tbh.
He had a good "floor game" tbh
intentional fouling was the true star of the game.
