I haven't said a bad word about Parker in weeks(even during his recent struggles), so I'll just reply with only 1 post:
He has scored in single digits in 5 of the past 6 games(which is 1 of his only 2 strengths, along with occasionally kicking and dishing), yet the Spurs have won 4 of them without any trouble..if your team is routinely blowing out the opposition with just decent(or minimal) contributions from a player, he's a role player, tbh..
He's still the best PG and ball-handler on the team, still the best penetrator when his body can handle it, he has been running the offense very well and getting others involved, and he can score against mismatches, that's his role..it's not 2013 anymore..
Disagree. Role players help their team. Enrique hurts his team.
More results-oriented player fans.
Let the Krew have their fun my ....
We won...Kawhi played good...TP played like .
It's the perfect trifecta for the Krew. This is the only way they are truly happy....
Who do you want at point?
Rique is averaging 9.3 ppg in April. That drops down to 4.6 ppg if we exclude the 27 point game.

The best type of Ws tbh.![]()
enjoy the win mi negro
Hahahaha!
Translation: if we cherry-pick Tony's worst 6-game window of the season and then exclude the best game of the 6, he has a really bad scoring average in that window. Lol.
(and also on his lowest MPG window as well)
I agree except if Kawhi shooting 7/17 is "good" for our best player, we've got a problem!
He wants ChokeP3 to come in and send us home in round 2.
green on O was too, best game of season by patty, with 11 minutes played? Hope his good play stays
7/17 is hall of fame numbers compared to what Parker did tonight.....
I'm just going to say this. I've been watching basketball for almost 30 years. I've watched Tony's whole career obviously. I've lived in San Antonio most of my life and never gone to less than 10 games a season. I've never missed going to any playoff run in the Robinson or Duncan eras. I've gone to at least one finals game all 6 times. I say all that to say that I've talked to a lot of Spurs fans throughout my life. I've met a lot of the players and played against a bunch of them in random pickup games around the city and I've met a lot of the Spurs media commentators throughout the years (Sean Elliott 3 or 4 times, live a few houses down from Andrew Monaco, etc). Never to this day have I heard anyone outside of 3 or 4 ST posters (who all happen to have an admitted KL infatuation) call Tony Parker a "role player." Now, maybe you guys are right or maybe the rest of the NBA world is right. I guess that's for each person to decide. I always wondered why Hater was so insistent on his use of the term "short bus," but now I'm starting to understand why he feels the need to use it so often.
They're happiest when the Spurs lose tbh.
No one is buying your . And plenty of vet posters called tony on his tonight. We are fans of the team. You saying we aren't doesn't make it true.
I frankly don't know what you are tbh.
You really don't like it when the Spurs win. You vent your anger after every W with Spam.
One good game and then a bad one, all year long.... W though.
It's true, but it happens to everyone. Kawhi had a 3-game stretch where he went 7/35 shooting. That's 20% over the course of 3 games. Tony didn't have a 3 game stretch in this month that was even close to that bad. You can manipulate whatever you want to make it look bad for any player. That's why you don't just single out games in evaluating players. Kawhi had 26 on Tuesday, Tony had 27 on Wednesday, and Duncan had 29 tonight. All really important games and our guys stepped up when we needed each of them to.
