For those of us who'll be watching the game between our (somewhat) hated rivals.

Still, not exactly sure who I should be rooting for. Mutual destruction?

As Melissa would never participate in a game between these teams, I give you a cheerleader more appropriate for the Grizz-Clips...

Hopefully LAC wins. If they beat Memphis, we'll only need 1 more Memphis loss to ensure that we get the 2nd seed (assuming we win out). Even if tonight ends up being their last loss of the season, we could still get the 2nd seed if Houston wins out as well and we end up in a 3-way tie with Houston and Memphis.

But if we're tied with the Clips don't they get the second seed? I really have no idea.

If we win the SW division, that automatically gives us the tie-breaker over the Clippers.

The absolute best case scenario for us is a Clippers win and us to run the table. That guarantees us either the 5 seed or the 2 seed (both favorable matchups, depending on if Houston loses again or not). We dont want to be in the 6/3 position.

But if this is the grizzlies only loss of season and clips don't lose any games (very likely) aren't we a 5 seed with hca rd1

Depends on if Houston makes it a 4 way tie, If Houston loses and its a 3 way tie, we are the 5 seed, if they make it a 4 way tie, we are the 2 seed

Memphis is playing the second leg of a B2B as they narrowly bet Utah last night by 1 (thanks, Gordon Hayward). So, they will likely be a bit tired or slow, at least out the gates. But, I think this is actually a close game. They know what's at stake here, and will play like it. We need the Clippers to take it though.

Read about Conley possibly resting the ankle injury until the playoffs. Is he listed in the starting lineup?

Does that mean we're required to laugh at those god-awful Cliff Paul adds for a night?

So how does the seeding work? I thought if the Spurs just beat the Suns and Pelicans, they're the 2 seed assuming Grizzlies lose at least one of their remaining games, regardless if Houston wins out or not. Am I incorrect in that assumption? I thought the Spurs had the tie-break over Memphis and Houston wouldn't even be in consideration since their division record is worse than SA's and Memphis's.

Spurs win out, Rockets win out and Grizz drop 2 games = Spurs 2 seed and best case scenario.
