Interesting video and analysis of the Spurs. Not sure I agree with everything they say, but I do agree with the fact that we pass the ball TOO much occasionally.

Imagine how much scarier it would be if we didn't have a traffic cone playing defense at the PG position.

Imagine how much better Spurstalk would be if we didn't have obsessive posters trying to salve their fragile egos by being edgy on a basketball forum.

You just described every starting point guard in the league. No one can be guarded bc of the hand check rule. Parker is no significantly worse than other guards, which explains why he's mostly been guarded by small forwards the last 5 years.

Yeah, there's no practically no difference between Enrique defense and the defense of the elite defensive PGs...

can you imagine Avery Bradley out on the perimeter alongside Wing Stop? Tiago covers pick and rolls, Timmy protects the rim. That defense would be legendary.I'd give up five Enriques to get Bradley on the team tbh.

Parker haters are so predictable it's kind of like the learning disabled kids in grade school who wave the hands and have pet phrases like " Need go potty "

You call it hate, I just call it the truth. The defense would indeed be a lot more scarier if it had even a half decent defensive PG.

Bradley/Smart, CP3, Beverly, Payton, Conley, Russ

Yeah and watch him brick jumper after jumper.
You say that as if Enrique is some kind of sharpshooter.

All your Parker ing honestly makes you sound like an ungrateful brat with nothing better to do than talk smack about a player who's been a big contributor in championship runs. I think everyone here understands how you feel about Parker, it's tired. Trying to make the league's 2nd best D after the All Star break better is laughable.

Tony Psrker has been the Spurs PG since 2002, a period of unprecedented success and excellence. He is a 6 time Allstar, Finals MVP, 4 times in top 10 of regular season MVP, future HOF'er, and one of the greatest in the history of the NBA at getting to the hoop and finishing around the rim. Furthermore, when Duncan declined offensively and stopped drawing double teams, it was Parker's ability to penetrate that allowed the Spurs to remain compe ive.

This season he struggled earlier, but is playing well enough right now that the Spurs are on a 20-3 run.

Why you saying this? It has nothing to do with the topic nor Parker Defense.

Why are yall so protective of him though? Ginobili has been an even better Spur than Rique and nobody has a problem giving him for his re ed turnovers. Don't anyone dare mention Enrique's atrocious defense though because then you're a spoiled brat.

Oh, I guess those accolades make him magically go from defender to not a defender. My bad.
