I think Draymond Green said he felt Kawhi was DPOY.

You just described every starting point guard in the league. No one can be guarded bc of the hand check rule. Parker is no significantly worse than other guards, which explains why he's mostly been guarded by small forwards the last 5 years.
Bingo, someone gets how team defense works.

Bradley/Smart, CP3, Beverly, Payton, Conley, Russ

You say that as if Enrique is some kind of sharpshooter.

Lol, you posted a chart showing Parker shooting 47% and 49% from 3 PT to prove he's NOT a good shooter? Lol.

Too good on offense? He dropped 2 points on the corpse of Jason Terry.
Funny because I thought he dropped 27 for some reason.

Dude. Barnes and Allen aren't guarding point guards bc their offense sucks. They are on the team to guard the best perimeter players. Paul starts out on the TPs, Lillards, and Currys of the world, and when they start lighting him up, Clippers put Barnes on them. And there's a reason Jordon blocks so many shots...Paul can't keep point guards in front of him like he used to. Unlike Paul, Conley is a pretty good defender, but he still struggles to guard elite point guards. That's why Tony Allen is guarding Parker most of the time. Hence, my point about Tony's defense not being that important. Even if he was a great defender, he still couldn't guard the Irvings and Lillards for long stretches when they are shooting well. Parker only has to be passable on defense. It's his ability to handle the ball, score, and run the offense that makes him important to the Spurs.
Exactly. Conley's one of the best defensive PGs in the league and yet Parker went for 24.5/9.5/3.5 on 0.532 shooting on him to sweep the Grizz in the WCF. The next closest Spurs were 9.0 PPG (Duncan) and 5.0 APG (Manu) behind Parker respectively. : "Defensive" point guards cannot stop offensive point guards, which is why Miami had to constantly put Lebron on Parker in the Finals to slow him down.

Kawhi has finally stolen the NBA's No. 1 defensive rating (96.1). Two Spurs and two Warriors lead the statistic.

The discussion was jumpers, pea brain. He's shooting a low percentage from midrange and his volume from the 3 pt line is way too low to consider him anywhere close to a sharpshooter.

See why can't fans be like this more often. Much respect back to you too.
"Why can't fans suck off the team I bandwagoned onto more often like the media does?"

Parker is going to be in the Hall of Fame and you will be angry about it.
Big whoop, anyone with semi-decent raw stats gets to be in the HOF. They have by far the lowest standards of any sport

    We're in the year 2015 not 2013.
Let me help you out. I know that you obviously don't have anything to say about how dominant Tony was in that series (which made you resort to pointing out what year we're in...thanks btw), but the point of the example was to show that "Defensive point guards cannot often stop offensive point guards" (it's literally written in the post). I did not say that Tony was playing at a 2013 WCF level right now. Just follow the thread.
