ing cliff jumpers, he went out and we havent skipped a beat, we dont need him to repeat. It wouldnt hurt but jesus, this isnt Tim or Kawhi we are talking about
I'm sorry but Tiago is our best big man defender. He would be needed in every single series out West. He does word on Dirk, LMA, Zbo, Gasol, Dwight. His defense is irreplaceable. We need him.

It's the usual bull from the FO in the last week before the playoffs. Pop said after the Suns that if next game on Wed was a playoff game Splitter would probably play... he's fine.

They are ing awful defensively as well. Spur fan is afraid for historical reasons only.
They were terrible last year as well. It's a testament to Carlisle's coaching that they keep making the playoffs with Dirk and a patchwork of new players every year. And it's good enough reason to at least be wary if not scared. Spurs SHOULD dominate. But the should have last season also.

Spurs didn't pick it up until game 7 last season against the Mavs. Spurs are playing great right now, but If Tony and Kawhi aren't agressive the team struggles mightily. Pop knows Carlisle's strategy now. Spurs limit Monta, and it's a rap.

I think you're right. But I also think Carlisle will at least show something new. Just don't want to see this go more than 5. Also don't want to see a sloppy series from the Spurs no matter how quick they win.

Why people suppose that Pop figured out Carlisle totally and now knows how to play them. RC is a capable coach that won't use same old stuff, he will try something new. Not saying Spurs need to be concerned but again Mavs deserves a bit of respect imo

Yeah pretty crappy news, although the Spurs should be fine without him for the 1st round. However, it would be nice to have him for Game 2 or 3. Game 2 is always on a Tuesday or Wednesday usually. So that gives him another week from now to recover..

The spurs can win against almost every team in the NBA without splitter, but against the Mobile bigs of the Hawks, Lebron's team and the Warriors...He's a must.

Going to need him against any 1st round opponent we face.

Sucks cause the last time he had the injury, he was looking worse than ever and it took him a while to get his rhythm back
Right, because we've been terrible since he's been out. Dude is overpaid, and over-appreciated by nearly every spur fan, however he's like the 9th most important person on the team. The only players I would want injured over Tiago is Ayers, Bonner, Williams and Anderson.

Tiago is definitely needed for the skills he brings to the table but the longer he's limited, the more minutes the Turd Towers will get in the playoffs.

They are not the #2 seed yet, have to win the last one before they worry about that match up.

Montae Ellis can go off at any moment, don't just think Dallas will roll over.
This. Plus, Splitter played great in the first round series last year. If we face Dallas it will not be a cake walk.
