Spurs are sitting at No. 2 currently, where they'll remain provided they beat New Orleans on Wednesday OR lose combined with a variety of other outcomes that result in them staying in 2nd.

It's not that. They didn't earn it. They had to go kicking and screaming to the league to rescind that technical. This is the same team that was favored with that ZBo suspension in game 7 of the playoffs last season.
It's utter bull and the Pels got the short end of that stick because they're a puny franchise. There's no way that happens if, say, the Lakeshow are in play.
They keep getting handouts and it just gives the league a bad rep.

KG hit someone in the nuts the game prior to a Celtics-Lakers game a couple of seasons ago and he only got fined. NBA kind of picks and chooses when zero tolerance applies.
Best case scenario: Loss (we get extra focused, bye bye OKC), Loss, Loss, Loss (putting Rockets on the Dups side of the bracket)

Spurs dropped so many winnable games this season. We should have locked up the #2 seed a week ago. Oh, well...at least we're peaking at the right time.
