Is CJ miles clinically re ed?
Drink drano.
Also, no offense to the Pelicans and their fans (good win, you guys deserved it), but why the would any of you idiots here be happy about OKC not making the playoffs? They could potentially get a lottery pick out of this.
If you're a Spurs fan, you should have wanted OKC in so they can get as worse of a pick as possible. They're not going to win the Championship, so them making it would have been better. The same could happen as when the Lakers missed the playoffs in 2005 and ended up with Andrew Bynum because of it. That always pissed me off as the Spurs had to keep settling for washed up veterans while LA got a darn good lottery pick out of it and it. They got two more championships out of missing the playoffs that one season and it could have been much worse for the Spurs if Bynum had of stayed healthy and fully interested in Basketball.
That's exactly what I'm thinking about in regards to OKC not being in the playoffs. All you guys that didn't want them in, I just have no idea why. It doesn't make sense to me on any level. They had no chance of winning, so it was all good. All this does it give them a better chance at a better draft pick. It also lets Ibaka heal and gives Westbrook more time to heal over the off-season. Durant, they ed up on, not sure what they can do with that one. They should have had him resting in the first place. If anything, not having him sit out more games at the start of the season may screwed the Spurs chances of getting the 2nd seed even more, as NO probably wouldn't have been playing to make the playoffs tonight.
I actual lol'ed
Lol, pretty hard to have a good +/- when 3 of your starters combine for less points than you put up.
They're the 14th pick in the lottery. And Durant looks done. I'm more pissed off we lost because of seedings.
He can't, it'd lose the team if he did. They would start second guessing him the moment he did if he was to do something like that.
Can't they possibly get a higher pick? Aren't they in the lottery? 14 is the projected pick? Can't they still get a higher pick if they get lucky with the lottery balls? Please correct me if I'm wrong.
irrelevant: Parker is not French.
Just be a nice pig, stay away from Bobo.
I'm not sure about the percentages but they have a very slim chance of going higher. usually the best team of the lottery ends up at 14.

El Conclusion: Pelicans 108, Spurs 103April 15, 10:10 pm — by Trevor Zickgraf59283Tumblr00
Tim Duncan, PF 33 MIN | 6-9 FG | 3-4 FT | 10 REB | 6 AST | 1 STL | 0 BLK | 1 TO | 15 PTS | -2 +/-Ineffective first half, really good second half. Omer Asik gives him fits on the block because he’s big and doesn’t bite on his up fakes. Either way, great finish to the regular season for Timmay. Kawhi Leonard, SF 38 MIN | 6-14 FG | 2-2 FT | 10 REB | 3 AST | 0 STL | 1 BLK | 1 TO | 14 PTS | -3 +/-Another solid game, nothing dominant, but he looked good. Between Tyreke Evans, Eric Gordon and Jrue Holiday, New Orleans has a ton of ball handlers, which makes matching up on defense really tricky. Aron Baynes, C 26 MIN | 4-6 FG | 0-0 FT | 6 REB | 2 AST | 0 STL | 0 BLK | 0 TO | 8 PTS | -7 +/-Good game from Baynes except when he had to guard Anthony Davis. It’s not his fault, Anthony Davis is great, but things didn’t go well when that match up had to happen. Tony Parker, PG 35 MIN | 11-17 FG | 1-2 FT | 1 REB | 6 AST | 0 STL | 0 BLK | 3 TO | 23 PTS | -11 +/-Easily the most encouraging part of the night. He was extra aggressive both getting his own shot and finding his teammates. If he’s playing like All-Star level Tony Parker in the playoffs, the first round match up won’t matter much. Danny Green, SG 18 MIN | 0-0 FG | 0-0 FT | 1 REB | 2 AST | 0 STL | 0 BLK | 1 TO | 0 PTS | -3 +/-Ew (I mean, whatever, he’s fine) but Ew. Marco Belinelli, SF 15 MIN | 0-2 FG | 2-2 FT | 0 REB | 0 AST | 1 STL | 0 BLK | 0 TO | 2 PTS | -7 +/-Under no cir stance should he have to guard Tyreke Evans, but given Danny Green’s foul trouble that happened a lot and it didn’t go well (unless you’re Tyreke Evans). The discouraging part was that he was missing on offense too. Boris Diaw, C 34 MIN | 10-14 FG | 0-0 FT | 5 REB | 5 AST | 0 STL | 0 BLK | 4 TO | 20 PTS | -6 +/-Great game from Bobo, who looks like he’s ready for the playoffs too. Whether it’s Portland or the Clippers in the first round, aggressive Bobo is going to be an advantage for the Spurs. Patty Mills, PG 11 MIN | 6-8 FG | 1-1 FT | 0 REB | 3 AST | 0 STL | 0 BLK | 1 TO | 15 PTS | +13 +/-Great timing if he really has found his shot? He’s shooting 40% from 3 over his last five games. Cory Joseph, PG 7 MIN | 0-1 FG | 0-0 FT | 1 REB | 2 AST | 0 STL | 1 BLK | 2 TO | 0 PTS | -2 +/-Not great tonight when they could’ve used him against that backcourt trio. Manu Ginobili, SG 21 MIN | 1-7 FG | 1-2 FT | 2 REB | 4 AST | 0 STL | 1 BLK | 2 TO | 4 PTS | -5 +/-Definitely not good Manu tonight. Gregg Popovich
Curious game from Pop tonight. Nice job to motivate the team in the second half, but no Patty Mills and no Danny Green for much of the game was weird. Game didn’t thrown by any means, but I think Pop is the last guy that cared about seeding tonight.
Three Things We Saw
- Totally understandable if you’re pissed about this loss. It’s likely going to put them in the six seed against the Clippers (Memphis game hasn’t been decided as of writing this). That’s a little ridiculous that the two hottest teams in the league have to play each other in the first round.
- At the same time, the Spurs are playing so well, a lot of feel who they play in the first round really won’t matter. They will and should be the favorites in that series. Going on the road for three straight series before the Finals isn’t ideal, but the Spurs have shown they can win on the road in the playoffs.
- Anthony Davis is awesome. That is all.
