I'm definitely scared of the Spurs recapturing that magic they displayed in the second halves of both of those games, with those lineups out on the court. Damn near impossible to beat them when they're at their best like that.

Had they lose a close game in the last few minutes, it could be passed off somewhat as randomness, especially considering they were due to lose. But to essentially be blown out from the start, against a mediocre opponent, in what they should have viewed as a must win game, speaks volumes.

The path is too difficult now for a team that's running on fumes to begin with. They needed home court for a round or two, but more importantly, they needed a series they could wrap up in five.

On the positive side, if the spurs win this series and Dallas wins their series..SAS might be able to get a much needed break heading into their series against GSW.

I'd rather they play LA now and take a breather against Dallas in the 2nd round than...Dallas first, then tough series against LA then a series against GSW....
