Houston is pathetic, I wouldnt even buy a shirt if it had 20x Division champions on it. The division means nothing if you are a perennial loser and first round exit. I know Houston fans and they are embarassing, they are popping boners about backing their way into a meaningless division le because we lost. First round exit for those gets.
Let that put things in perspective for you. Spurs fans have been pretty spoiled over the last 26 or so years.

As a Spurs fan I buy only buy gear when they win a le but as a Houston Texans fan I would be overjoyed to win a division le over the colts.
EVen as a Padres fan, i wouldn't get that excited. But then again, they have won the NL West 4 or 5 times in the last twenty years.
Only buy gear for Conference championships/World championships, otherwise that is pussy
I don't blame them if they are a bunch of young fans that never got to witness the rockets 2 le during the 90's then winning a division championship is going to be pretty exciting. I'm never going to get excited over the spurs winning a division le but then again I got to witness all 5 les. On the other hand you could have spur fans 20 years from now get exciting about division les since they didn't get get to experience the 5 les. Its pretty much all about perspective. Now if they are old school Rox fans buying those shirts then that's pathetic.

If anything, there should be a t-shirt for the entire SW division for being so dominant. Instead of division champ, it should be champion division.
No team better than 9-7 (Rockets) or worse than Spurs (7-9), with other three at 8-8. Back out those head-to-head games and division was 221-109, winning more than 2/3 of games = 55 win pace. Unbelievable.
And I thought I went overboard buying too many championship shirts/gears/caps from last year's run
