Nothing says "humble" quite like running your mouth about how you could beat up Floyd because you're jealous of all the money and ratings he's about to get.
We are discussing the average MMA fighter vs Boxer. MMA fighters usually have foundation in wrestling, which is extremely respectable.

MMA fighters recognize whenever they step into the ring, they could be knocked unconscious.

MMA fighters were humble but now theyre copying Mayweather's style big time, Rousey and Conor are not really like that. They are obviously trying to mimic their GOD aka Mayweather.

Mayweather couldn't beat our tranny fighter - Dana every ing press conference
Haha yeah they are going down the WWE route

2 random fighters as I click thru the TV: give me MMA every single time. Watching two guys circling around slapping each other with pillow gloves is boredom.

If it's the "biggest fight of the Decade" sure I'll prefer boxing than MMA.
I guess you prefer watching two sweaty men rolling around on the ground sniffing each others assess.

Like ALL Martial Artists…If any of them could actually fight they would be in a boxing ring making millions of dollars instead of kneeing each other in the face….

MMA is much more exciting than Boxing, although the 2 sports are ty. Boxing just seems like there will never be a KO, just some 90 year old judges deciding who wins on some random criteria "Oh, he controlled the ring"

MMA at least its way more common for finishes and crazy happening.

And Mayweather and Pac are the only cats making money in boxing, the UFC doesn't have a huge name, but there are 50 or 60 guys making good money, while in Boxing its 5 or 6 and the rest are starving like african children

MMA fighters spent much of their lives in a dojo training under a sensei or master of some sort. They learn respect very early and it's part of their training. Boxers learn to hit. They don't learn discipline.

Also, Dana is basically doing what Kobe does: gather crumbs from the feast that he's not part of. Kobe does it every year that he's not in the Finals or playoffs, gets his name in the media saying something stupid about something that's none of his business just so he can be talked about.

Think about it…Why "kick & choke" for thousands when one could “box” for millions….Pretty sad when your sports biggest attraction is a girl…And BTW America is the greatest country on the planet…We don’t care what third world Bozo's think of us!

I hate Mayweather and its not because of the money he is making, its because his fighting style is such a pussy fighting style. I miss my childhood of Hagler, Sugar Ray, Tyson, Duran, etc. Fighters like Mayweather, Lewis, etc. have ruined boxing.

Leonard employed that pussy tactic against Duran, but the difference between Mayweather and Leonard, Leonard made it and colorful as he just danced around the ring taunting him.

Mayweather is just a pussy. He doesn't start actually fighting until he hurts his opponent with his counter punches. I hope Pacman beats this guy to a pulp and breaks his jaw. I really mean that.

kicking is for little es. and watching two guys grapple and try to submit each other is boring as . no way to make it entertaining. a sport that only allows punching is actually pretty watchable.

UFC just feels like a cheap and ty product every time i watch it. And the fact that they treat their fighters like isn't gaining them any popularity.

I'd say it's more like wrestling most of the time....i'm sure it's interesting to learn the techniques but it sure is boring to watch.

    Fight?

In a street fight an MMA fighter would absolutely kill a boxer. There wouldn't even be a fight component to it. An average MMA fighter vs a world champion boxer, and the boxer is leaving on a cart with his leg in splinters.

If boxing was superior as an overall fighting style, you'd see guys just training that and then winning the belt.

At someone trying to "box" Jon Jones into submission.

UFC and MMA in general is a product that caters to White viewers, tbh..no problem with that, it is what it is, though..

I don't think MMA fights are any less boring than boxing fights(I prefer boxing and its not even close, but I understand how either of them can be argued as boring), but MMA fighters are far less interesting..most of them have virtually no charisma or selling ability, most of them don't have interesting upbringings or backgrounds, etc..

MMA fans act like their guys have skills in 15 different fighting forms. It's either punching, or rolling on the ground. And since they can't punch for , they choose to roll on the ground.

guys coming coming over from WWE and winning the championship belt. Boxing takes years to be good enough to even make it compe ively. MMA trainer - "you're a plumber right now? can you punch? No? it. We'll teach you how to straddle. You can still be a champ."

At that "guy" being an athletic freak and an NCAA Division I championship wrestler who also shredded the NFL combine. I guess football isn't a real sport either.

Yeah, I mean it's not like some guys win the le in boxing when they're too young to drink, right? Oh wait. Tyson won the belt at 20 in a sport that had been around for over three centuries.
