Spurs in 6.
SA crowd was really loud against GSW and Houston, so-so against Denver. They will be loud come playoff time.

Last nights loss woke the Spurs up. Spurs will be back on track.
Spurs in 6.
I'm not worried either, but I hope the Spurs take them more seriously than we do.
I say if we take game one, the series is over in 5.
I am kind of glad, last year we played an anemic team we were supposed to sweep in the first round. We could have lost that series. We weren't focused for the beginning. We WILL be focused from the beginning against the Clippers. I'm glad we didn't have to play Memphis, Zack Randolph would wear Tiago Splitter down
managing the refs and the flopping and the whining is going to be the toughest test
everything is possible with The Cancer
True. I went to game 4 or 5 of the Clippers vs Thunder series last year and i was shocked how uninterested their crowd was.
Spurs in 6. Game 6 will be a blowout win for the Spurs.
Too easy tbh.
Yup you can just tell by the way Big Baby or some other scrub try their hardest to wake the crowd up. All those fans don't care about that team, it's just temporary until the Lakers are back
Never said it was going to be easy. For all I know the Clippers should be favorites. I just refuse to believe it. I refuse to believe Spurs current champs will bow out in the 1st round and the team to send them home being the LA Flippers. Just sounds ridiculous![]()
The Spurs' crowd has mellowed from decades of dominant basketball, tbh. We Spurs fans tend to take winning for granted.![]()
Clips can win this series if their athletic guys are allowed to take over which might allow their skill guys to play a significant role. If we play old, slow, and stupid we can lose. Green, Leonard and hopefully Splitter, should take care of the old and slow part. Tim won't play stupid, nor will Boris. Tony and Manu need to run the team as is should be situationally.
So for our guys with fewer minutes:
Belli- Hit that 3, use that great off the ball movement and ball faking and then please... stay in front of somebody.
Baynes- Get your body on the freak and foul him before a dunk attempt. Ball fake him, reverse on him, make him look like the jump-out-gym fool he is.
Corey- If required, give Chris Paul , make him mad.
This Clippers team lacks so much composure we can't give them any reason to settle into a confident place. If they could actually settle down and stop barking at opponents and refs they would be worrisome.
Its it's an older crowd as well. Some of these older folks, family crowds, spend their entire income on season tickets. The days of cheaper tickets close and younger crowds are gone. Actually for being old they do a decent job at making noise. The old Hemisphere Arena was deafening. Actually unhealthy deafening. As a little one I came out of playoff games with ears aching. And we always found a way to lose.
if Mills maintains his play, we are in great shape.
Spurs will win 4 in a row in this series
I hope so nig. don't get me wrong, I think Clips should be favorites. Spurs haven't proven they can consistently win vs good teams this season.
still I refuse to believe in a loss
Umm except it wasn't the equivalent at all, since it was a regular season game, and really we had nothing on the line. The Spurs did a former coach a favor, gave the Warriors a big fella to battle with in the first round, dashed our winning streak so we didn't have to deal with that nonsense, eliminated Okc from the playoffs, avoided Dallas, and ended up facing the Clippers... Who we always beat.
And all Spurs gave up was home court advantage, which only really helps out Tony Parker.
not for the Pelicans. If they lost they out of the playoffs if they win they are in. similar

I'm just saying that last game vs the Pelicans was not a game 6 in the Wcf against the Lakers... Nowhere near the realm of equatable from an overall perspective... and the reality shows that perhaps there are more benefits for the Spurs not to have won, which of course affected their compe ive subconscious.
So to draw any implications from that game, for how the Spurs will play going forward, is just nonsense imo.
Edit: I do see your point though that for the Pelicans it was do or die.... But for the Spurs it wasn't
