he's among several of the reasons we lost tonight
is the worst starting PG in the West Playoffs. He is also the reason we lost tonight.

The sky darkens with his porking
32/7/6/2 on 73.5 TS% - Paul
10/2/1 on 42.1 TS% - Parker
Spurs fans that think Parker owns Paul. Tony's extremely fortunate to have played on the superior teams. Like clockwork, he chokes in the playoffs once again while Paul elevates his performance.
He's probably also the reason Splitter's calf is ed. Splitter, as well as KY and Verde have to cover a lot of ground for his mistakes, everybody on the roster does, dude gets beat on every possession.
His terrible defense makes everyone else exert a ton of energy, Splitter has to go out on the perimeter, guard the pick and roll, challenge whoever just blew by Parker, etc. Spurs would be much fresher w/out him.
Too much dead weight on the roster.
There isn't one thing he does for this team. It's really unbelievable how terrible he is.
lol trying to pin this loss all on Parker
"Parker and Chris Paul are a wash"-- Reggie Miller
That is by far one of the worst mainstream take ever.![]()

Player fans only see 1/10 of the real game. Only the 1/10 they want to see.
BTW...Parker was trash tonight. BUT....so was Danny, Banger, Diaw, Splitter, and did I say Danny Green? Dude was so awful he should be mentioned twice.
Parker makes everything more difficult for the Spurs. The team has to play at a ridiculous level to overcome that burden. His inefficient offense is even worse because Clippers run it down our throats.
Parker was bad, but not so much for his defense. No point guard in the NBA can keep Paul in front of them. But Tony had some terrible turnovers and just couldn't hit a shot.
For our sake, hopefully Enrique continues to be a cancer. I said before the series that we needed him to go full Enrique to have a chance and he did it tonight.
Yup. Look at the shooting numbers from last season's playoffs. Parker's the only rotation player that shot worse than league average(.541) in the post season:
He's a playoff choke artist. Always has been. Always will be.
In case anyone is wondering about the significance of this chart. If you look at the mid-range area you'll see the bulk of Tony Parker's shots. The value of those are worse the Deandre Jordan's fts. Every time he takes one it's like us hacking Jordan but a little worse.
Overall dude has lost a couple of steps, slower than an elephant and totally torched by Chris Paul.
Even the 3-point shooting isn't that impressive since he was flukishly making them before all-star break. After all-star break, he fell back down to Earth and only made 28.1% of his threes.
That's ugly. He doesn't even know what shots are his most effective.![]()
If we want threes play Patty tbh. No reason to have someone who consistently brings the value of Deandre Jordan's fts to the offense. At the same time he is terrible at defense.
