They released the dash cam video but didn't say where they released it.
How weird that it all happened at 7:30 p.m. when the sun was still up.
I figured it was really late the first time I read the story.
Quick update on DT Michael Williams of Fort Worth All Saints Episcopal (24/7):
"They are near the top of the list," Williams texted Horns247 Sunday night.
"It (spring game visit) was good," Williams said. "It was real good."
Inside Texas reporting OL Patrick Hudson of Silsbee was supposed to be at the spring game:
"I'm sorry I couldn't make it today due to all of the rain," said Hudson. "My coach thought that it was going to be bad on (Saturday)."
"I'm definitely appreciative, and I'm doing pretty good with all of it," Hudson explained. "You know how recruiting can be. But I don't want people to think that I'm not grateful for the experience and opportunities. I just go along with the flow you know."
"I don't have time to care what other people think, I'm on a huge mission in life. I wish the fans could understand that. The recruiters and coaches come hard, but the fans do too."
"Yes, I am (interested in UT)."
"Actually my coach and I have been talking about it a lot lately," said Hudson. "He is supposed to be taking me to visit UT soon, I just have no clue when but that's the plan. I want to see UT. I want go visit a ton of places really. I don't know where yet. Everything is still on the table now."
"To be honest, I can't explain it (the reason for liking UT)," Hudson said. "It's just that feeling I guess. The potential is there. You can see it."
I am SO CONFUSED!

WR Darnell Salomon of Miami Central (FL.) was recently offered by Texas, heres a quote from 24/7. He named Alabama, Auburn, LSU, Oregon and Texas as his current top five.
“That’s definitely what I want do (get out of State),” Salomon said. “I want to get out of this state. When my mom found out I got the Texas offer, she started screaming. She wants me to travel and have fun while I’m young.”
Hopefully by "travel" she doesn't mean just use the official visit as a vacation and not seriously consider having him sign here.
Perhaps I am just interpreting that wrong.
The update makes it sound like he wants out of Florida. I know he has been transferring back and forth between schools in Miami, so maybe his mother wants some stability away from some possible distractions? The paragraph right before the quote says "As you can see, Salomon did not include any in-state programs. He is adamant about using his talents to see another part of the country and play major college football away from home.". That's about it when it comes to actual info in the update.
Damnit! Is no one going to appreciate my wit in this comment?
TE Jack Stoll of Aurora, CO talks about his visit to UT (OrangeBloods):
"We got there a few hours early, got to talk to the coaches, sit in on the tight end meetings. Then we got to go to the spring game," Stoll said. "Overall, it was really an awesome day."
"I'd say overall, I was very impressed. I got to see coach (Jeff) Traylor during his position meetings, not just in recruiting. I really like his style. I got to meet coach (Charlie) Strong in person, have a pretty solid 10-minute conversation. Overall, everything was great. The coaches were phenomenal, and I really liked the atmosphere around there. There's not a bad thing to say about Texas. I really loved it."
"They might have even grown more. Meeting the coaches in person, they're even better people than they were over the phone," Stoll said. "The way they conduct their business, it was really awesome to see. Everything I have to say about Texas that was good, I could really repeat again. It was a great day."
"As far as a time for me, I think I'll definitely be committed sometime before my football season. That's about the only timeline I can give right now," Stoll said. "It will probably happen sometime this summer. But again, I want to feel comfortable with a school, have a good feel before I commit. It will probably be this summer, so I don't have to go through the whole process and don't have to worry during my senior season."
Just a reminder that TE Peyton Aucoin and TE Irvin Smith of New Orleans, LA will be on campus this weekend.
Let me guess:
He will release his top 10 schools in no particular order?
All-star game announcement, imo.
RB Trevor Speights of McAllen Memorial has de-committed from Arizona.
Jamabo, who was driving a pickup with three other teens, then ran a stop sign, swerved and sped past other cars with “total disregard for the public safety of others on the road,” Walker said.
Idiot...
