Yeah, sure, it has its benefits. Honey in maple syrup is very good when you glaze it on pancakes, donuts and pastries.

It's ing stupid to inject it in million-euro players and expect honey to heal their knocks and bruises. That makes him look like a quack doctor. That is banned in the United States.
Those honey docs hsve been around since 1977

Pep is just an overrated sore loser

German medicine is surely more than Injecting honey and praying that banged-up joints will heal

Not saying that Pep is not at fault at all, that was poor of him as well. But I'd really smash a chair through a doctor who still does homeopathy as his method of giving medical attention to million-euro athletes.

^yeah, after the smoke settled more details come to light: In fact it was an altercation with Rummenigge in Porto which lead to MW leaving.
And his methods are in fact ancient (he is 72 years old), and where criticised for years (e.g. Klinsmann "era")...

Nevertheless, weird timing for Bayern, season could really end bad for them!

Even Magath won League & Cup back-to-back (double Double) and was fired.
What has Pep reached more than that? Nothing then internal trouble...

    Reus no
    Hummels maybe
    Gündogan if Khedria comes

There has been a meeting of Klopp, Watzke and Hummels some days ago, in which the teams future was discussed. So there is the interpretation of the situation, that the players wanted a change (Klopp quotes at quitting-presser: "One head had to go, it was mine", "Big changes where needed if a stayed, not that big changes will happen, now that I will leave" a.s.o.)...

All depends on who becomes new coach. If it is infact Tuchel - as reported by BILD - who coached Khedira in Stuttgart before he became Pro (and rumor, recently texted him: "could you imagine to play in yellow&black?"), then the teams main players would stay, imo.

If they are not convinced of the new coach, there could be a bigger overhaul...

Which direction do you prefer? I think the roster needs an overhaul.

Wouldn't selling everyone and buying young talent be the next approach?

The problem would be that generating a load of money by selling all those guys would raise up the fees for all the guys BVB wants, because the selling side knows Dortmund got that money...

There will be an overhaul, but not as big as expected (maybe the reason for Klopp leaving was: he wanted it big, management not so much!?). And it denpends on the new coach, as stated.

My guess: I don´t see Ciro & Miki as gone as everybody else does. But rather Ramos, Jojic, Großkreutz; maybe Weidenfeller, Schmelzer, Piszczek, Kirch, even Bender (Geis from Mainz as his replacement)... Don´t know about Kagawa. Kehl retires. So that´s up to ten changes already...

Special tactic of Tuchel: flat diagonal passes to start the offense, not straight down the line. Therefore I think there will be new R/L backs!

And speaking of young talent (22 years old or younger), as Klopp stated on his quitting-presser
("I could cry thinking about all the young talent here at BVB I will not be able to develope"):

    Goal: Bonmann

Defence: Durm - Sarr - Ginter - Stankovic - Dudziak

    Midfields: Maruoka - Gyau* - Flores* - Burnic - Passlack - Pulisic* - Larsen

    Attack: Ducksch - Hofmann

(*btw: those three are from the US)

I could imagine 5 of these guys on the regular 23 player roster for the first team next season. The talent is there!

Young guys to acquire from other teams: Geis (DM, Mainz), Horn (GK, Köln), Baba (LB, Augsburg), and one offensive talent...

EDIT: ^offensive talent: Volland. And maybe Karius (GK, Mainz) instead of Horn

I like your encouraging breakdown. There is hope!

Dortmund has rebuilt numerous times, it can happen again

Didn't the doc leave Bayern after having a blow-up with Jurgen Klinsmann a few years ago about the same stuff?
    They both seem like Premadonnas.

    Injecting honey to heal injuries

I think even Rumminegge hates this doc also but the players seem to like him because they probably like the sensation of honey in their bones.

It's no secret that Pep hates this doctor. When Thiago Alcantara got injured he recommended a specialist in Barcelona rather than this doctor.... Only a drive away... Only a text away.

Pep applauding Müller-Wohlfahrt after Benatia injury last week...
That gesture wasn't directed at Müller-Wohlfahrt and it wasn't applauding, but wanting to make the physio follow Benatia faster to the locker room.

That beeing said, I don't like how Bayern treated the doc. That's not our style.

Time to man up. Either Bayern or myself, with the first choice being the preferable.

I believe Bayern will beat Porto, but there's that distant smell I can't get out of my nose ----> a big load of sandwich with my name on it...

Ja, read more details about the situation the following days. Nevertheless, a lot of stuff was just disrespectful, no matter to whom of the medical staff it was directed to...

It´s really interesting to see, how KHR & Co handle the situation, especially if they don´t manage to advance today!
