Ujiri is supposed to be good, but all the "cornerstone" players on the team are from the previous regime..we'll see what he does during the off-season, it's going to be his team to design now..
Valenciunas is limited by coaching, Casey doesn't trust him and he has been developed pretty poorly, but he's pretty overrated as a prospect, too..very solid offensive player, but extremely bad on D..

They didn't have any draft picks last year, and their 2014 draft pick didn't really play much this year..
Ujiri has been fine, so far, but now he has to figure out where they're going following 2 first-round exits where they had HCA vs. other mediocre teams..
He also just signed a fat, aging PG to a 4-year deal, and just signed Casey, too(although coaches get fired all the time, making that irrelevant)..

To be fair, Lowry isn't the issue with the team. In fact, they could've done much worse for a starting PG who can space the floor and pass. Their real problem is DeRozan, as you said. Think he'll have the balls to trade him?
