The Lakers will most likely sign Rondo, but they'll get him for much cheaper than they would've a year ago because there will not be many a suitor.

That's the damn truth. Always going after every point guard or overrated head instead of a competent defensive center which obviously is the perfect compliment to Dirk. If we had Tyson on those teams instead of lafrentz and Bradley maybe Dirk has several rings. I know the heat don't beat us with Tyson. And that means no psychological breakdown in 07. And then there's blowing it up in 12.
The 2nd best player of his generation deserves better.
He could help a little by at least moving on the defensive end, tbh.
