Of course, they are human, but it's a teams job to play well enough to erase all doubt. If for example your team plays well enough defensively then you'll hold the other team to less points than what you score then you win. But if one play determines the game and the fan base whines about it then they should be mad at their own team for letting it get that close...never leave it in the hands of the refs. Also, there are plenty of bad calls made throughout a game, for and against both teams...funny how only when ones team is on the losing side do we all make a big deal of it. Also, there is a series of seven games..you have an opportunity to prove that you are a better team over the course of these games. The refs wont decide this series..the teams will.

kawhi will lead us to victory!![]()
Hoping for the best but expecting the worst. Thankfully 5 is here forever.
Just dont let the clippers go balls deep this time.
All I want is our shooters to hit their open looks tonight. Hitting a few contested ones would be great. But if we hit our shots and get back on D, the rest of the game will take care of itself.
Thunderefs too?
Thought we'd lose game 1, now I kinda feel like we'll adjust and take this one.
Then again I really am just a contrarian moron so take it with a grain of salt.
Have you heard those morons every time a call goes against them? I'm seriously shocked they haven't pelted the court with projectiles at this point. OKC has one of the most ridiculous crowds in the NBA.
Isn't OKC famous for housing morons? I'm a foreigner myself but I remember TV executives justifying the poor quality of their shows by saying "well what can we do, people in Oklahoma have to understand it".
I am so excited for this game - can't wait. Especially if the first two games of the night have the teams up 2-0 like the first 5 series played.
I am very interested to see the adjustments by Pop and the Spurs - they obviously have to tweak things other than just making FT's or shots. That obviously helps, but:
o How do they handle Kawhi being doubled. It's obvious he still needs touches, but do they move him around from his normal spots to make it harder to double? Do they put him in PnR or get him in transition earlier/more?
o How do the guards (namely TP/Manu) handle the ultra-aggressive hedging/trapping in the PnR? Clips bigs (namely DJ) tried to blow up nearly every single PnR by aggressively trapping and basically leaving the Spurs screener free. Normally, that should be a dangerous strategy against the Spurs ball movement and shooters, but it worked well.
o Can Tiago actually go longer minutes? Will TP find a way to more carefully get into the painted area and collapse the defense or finish that floater?
Lot's of interesting wrinkles here - and that's not even discussing how the Spurs will handle CP3 on defense.
I fully expect an absolute 3-pt barrage from our boys tonite TBH
If Diaw doesn't give a , you know nobody else does.
If they win this game, they'll easily win the series IMO..Spurs aren't losing at home where Danny Green shoots 48% from 3 IIRC..
If they lose, I think it'll be Clippers in 7 with the home team winning every game..
Is the game on ESPN tonight? I like hearing Jalen Rose mock Spurs fans with the "Go Spurs Go" chant. I find it comical.
Not necessarily. Diaw is just an apathetic kind of guy. He's French. He just wants to eat, drink wine, and gain 10 pounds every Summer. I would love it if he would play well tonight.
you still play fanduel?
Ya, just the tournaments now, though..I won a couple of big ones in the past month, so I'm still on my original deposit..
