Nobody knows who the big cuck is. Kobe is a household name and the rightful successor to Michael Jordan.

Jordan, Kareem, Magic, Duncan. I can no longer justify putting anyone higher. There's just no argument for it.

OP thinks Jim Duncan (or is it James Ducan?) is the greatest of his generation half the country doesn't even know who he is. Everyone knows Kobe, though.

Sportsnation has Jim out of the top 10, all time. He's even lower than Shaq.

I was worried there for a second, but he came up huge in OT. He also played amazing defense throughout.

Kobe has made the NBA more money in 35 games played this year than Jimmy has in his 1000+. Jimmy can't even keep his own money, in fact. And that's why Kobe is the greatest of his generation while Jimmy is just another all-star

I mean...it's not possible to argue against Timmy as player of his generation at this point. He's most certainly the best big man. What he's done since that awful 2011 playoff series has been nothing short of amazing.

Also, no other player in his generation has been the best player on 5 le teams (Kobe has been 2.5 times).

Jimmy should include Popovich in his death bed letter. He should thank God he fell into the hands of the best coach ever. When it's all said and done, everyone will recognize that those were Gregg Popovich's rings, not Jimmy's

In contrast, Kobe had to deal with a glorified housekeeper who had to beg on his knees to get his job back in '05. I don't know how Michael was able to win those rings having no real coach.

You should know by now that the nation is full of re s that are easily manipulated by the media. Go have a real nation wide poll, on the streets, in the newspaper, on Jimmy Kimmel live, and let's see if Jimmy can even get 40/60 on Kobe.
