joking aside, parker would be a really good backup in this series
Serious question. Spurs just have better offense and spacing when Mills is in for Parker. And the only play I see Parker call is a 2-man game pick and roll with Duncan and it has been ineffective. And this LAC series is just a bad matchup for Parker, with a shot blocker like DJ.
BTW, a very, very great win for us.
joking aside, parker would be a really good backup in this series
Yes. His hero balling ways hurt our team. Just watch the playoffs from last year
If its 2012 parker than no. But 2015 parker yeesh
The Spurs offense was creating easier and better looks wayyyyyyy more consistently with TP than Patty. However, Patty was scoring which was needed bc TP was worse than Rondo with scoring. It's tough.
Today it was
Tony is injured?
I've no doubt that the spurs would've lost if Tony doesn't go out, forcing pop's han.
Wishful thinking. Just another in the long list of fake injuries to save face, he'll be back unfortunately.
you believe in CIA pop fantom TP injuries lol
Just another fake injury excuse, calm down guys.
If he is really injured, LOOK OUT! League is ed!
When Mills was in with Splitter the offense was blazing tbh
Splitter kept finding Mills on his rolls for open 3s
With the array of injuries Parker is suffering now and considering we get past LAC, I was wondering which other playoff teams we could possibly meet in the next rounds that would be a very tough series for us if Parker can't make an impact or even play at all?
Yes, his fake injury that finally allowed Pop to bench him while saving face is a blessing in disguise...
Rondo more efficient than Parker![]()
You would've had a couple of 38% mid-range shots and the game would've been done.
I think Patty can play the Parker role better than Parker right now. At least try starting him for a game and bring Parker off the bench. He'd have a better chance against Austin Rivers.
Oh yeah they lose hands down if he is in there, Patty never should have been taken out when he got hot. That could have cost them the game there.
Parker's actually pretty good in his role player role, tbh..the Spurs only have 2 perimeter facilitators in Parker/Ginobili, they need one of them on the floor when the offense is stagnant..
Patty is the better player, at this point, but Parker is better suited to run the conventional offense..he's like Pablo Prigioni, which is good to have sometimes(although not for 14 mil per year)..
As we saw in last year's playoffs, the offense is better when Manu is the facilitator, though..
it looked ugly. If the clippers had not had so many turnovers the halfcourt offense would have been more important. WE didn't really pull away until we got fast break points, which mills excels at.
Kudos to Mills, but Tony would be useful. If we can get Mills back to 100% than i'll trade Parker out for the next to games, but for game 5 or 6 i want Parker as the starter.
Parker sometimes mopes when he can't make anything happen on offense. He missed shots and then shut down mentally. No defense, no energy. He'll be "injured" until he comes out next game and tries to redeem himself. If he gets his game going, his injury will disappear. If not, he'll remain "injured."
Sit him until he puts forth effort on both ends, regardless if his shots are falling.
Parker has carried the Spurs in the past and is the champion who should start and Mills would be the first to say this. Champions always come back.
When he got blocked by DJ like 3 mins into the game, I was thinking "oh , he ain't driving the lane anymore"... exactly what happened.
just a bit of fan fiction in there with another dash of TV doctor too. You got it all, Jag
