Patty was great. But they clearly left Mills unguarded on the edge not knowing his skills and were very tired ! If Mills starts the 3rd game neither cir stance will apply.

Mills will only start if Cojo is injured as well ... if TP is not able to go, CoJo starts and Patty still comes off the bench.

Everyone is heavily scouted in the playoffs. They know what he can do, he's not an unknown coming from the D-League.

That 2 clutch FTs that send game into OT was huge tbh

I am sure Kawhi or Manu would have missed at least 1.

Marco, Patty are clutch FT shooters

I agree. I didn't know what to expect from Patty given his miserable regular season. He was mega-clutch in game 2, awesome.

can i just say, I had rotator surgery about 10 years ago, it took me nearly 9 months before my arm felt connected properly, and not massively tight. Given he injured it mid season last year and played all the way through the year, scar tissue build up would have been quite bad, so he would not only had to recover surgery but that would have had to break down that tissue. Its no surprise he is now starting to find his groove, it was always going to take time. The man is a warrior. Any Spurs fan that has anything unnecessarily negative about him is a turd quite frankly

He's a shooter. I think if he gets time he'll come up big. I have faith in Patty. I do miss him just draining threes like last year. Cojo playing pretty well though. Patty may not get a chance.
Not saying I was right but I mean...I was right.

My favorite plays from Patty didn't even involve him on the offensives end. When he hacked Paul in the 2nd quarter and kneed him off the screen in the 4th were my favorite. Finally someone on this team was giving that pussy what he deserved.

Paul was mentally and physically spent by the end of the 4th and a lot that was due to Patty being very physical with him throughout the game.

Looks like Patty is almost 100% as I would suspect he would be around the start of the Playoffs. If Patty continues his play, Spurs can beat any team even with Parker doing jack.

And I like this. Let Cojo just be physical with Paul from the start. That is one thing Cojo is good for, playing very good D and getting physical. Clips are wearing down. Just keep on hitting them in the mouth at this point.

So happy to see Patty finally rounding into form. This is what we've been waiting for all year and he is showing back up at the perfect time.

He was a key for our run last year, and looks to be one again.

Remember the Rodeo Road Trip last season when Patty went on that run. One of those games he tore up CP3 and ripped the Clips.

I always keep mentioning that. Patty, not Parker was the key for the Spurs to win the Championship out of the backcourt. That is why I said Patty was a must resign for the Spurs in the offseason if they had a shot at repeating. When he is on like last night, the Spurs actually played their best BB last season.

I figured his surgery would take about 9-10 months to fully heal. For the Spurs sake, it has nearly completely healed in the nick of time.

Depending upon how Parker's injuries go, Patty may have just played himself into the starting lineup. I can't see Pop continuing to go to this "Parker's fine" bull when he can't make a shot or finish a game.
