Make up your mind who's you're going to suck.
this reminded me of Wilson vs the Packers... wilson played like garbage all game, got bailed out my his team and packers choke job, but made the big plays to send the game to OT and to win it
Curry played terribly throughout, and even in OT... but he did hit 2 big shots to close regulation and did enough in OT to seal it
Make up your mind who's you're going to suck.
Except for the part where despite not having a good game he still ended up with 40 ing points, 9 assts and 5 rbds.
What Curry did right:
1. Got to the FT line
2. Limited his turnovers to 3
3. Won
What he could do better:
1. Move the ball
2. Shot selection
3. Shot selection
4. Shot selection
I'm sure he didn't defend well, I'd have to look at the video to know, but they got into a hole because it became a 2 man game on offense. Davis is a great defender, but it's not like they can't go inside because of it. 30 3pt attempts between 2 people is a bit extreme. But they won, so it won't matter. We'll see how they approach the next series, this one is over. The Pels won't even bring energy next game, probably have their bags packed. Their championship was the Spurs RS game.
10-29 shooting... at one point in the 3rd i think he missed 8 of 9 attempts.
in the 4th he would basically cross half court and put up a shot, it was really ugly ball. i'm a big curry fan, but it was an abortion of a performance. that said, he did hit the 2 big threes in the last 30 seconds of regulation.
Assuming the Warriors meet the spurs...how does it end??
Nope, abortion of a perfomance is going 14 of 29 for 209 yds with just 1 TD and 4 interceptions on today's NFL.
40 pts, 9 assits, 5 rbds and only 3 to's in a winning effort can never ever be categorized as "an abortion of a performance", tbrh.
ur giving a kobe fan's argument tbh... he played a pretty bad game, made some big shots, and they were able to win.
for the warriors sake, curry needs to clean up his act and go back to how he was playing during the regular season
You're starting to see the light.
his performance today was pretty indefensible, but it was also uncharacteristic
It was uncharacteristic of his play this season, but not two seasons ago. He used to do that all the time. He didn't just now invent it.
Spurs in 5.
I agree that he had a sub-par game for his standards. But there's a huuuuge gap between "sub-par" and "abortion of a perfomance". What Wilson did against the Packers was an abortion of a performance, what Curry did tonight is very far from it.
An abortion of a perfomance in basketball terms would be what Manu or Tony did in 6, tbh.
just hilarious
An article about genocide is hilarious?
I think he's being sarcastic since he's also probably Aremenian.
Russ got his coach fired for his chucking ways. Say what you want, but I think Scott keeps his job if the Thunder were dead last in the standings. Letting your star PG kill himself to get to the wrong side of the bubble is pathetic. Curry has shown a remarkable turnaround in his game since Kerr took over. You can bet Kerr was pissed about the shot selection, but Kerr isn't Pop so he cannot chew out the team golden boy without being a broadcaster again next year.
So is there a consensus winner of the thread, or just two losers fighting for bargaining rights? Rhetorical question,I don't need an answer, but whenever one side wins will someone inform me if there is a meltdown? 1000 posts has to end with a meltdown. Either curry wins or losses. Legacy on the line here.
Not if they combined to shoot 43% on those attempts. They scored 39 points on 30 shots. To score the same amount of points on 30 shots with only 2 pointers, you would have to shoot 67%, by hitting 20/30 (yes I know that would technically be 40 points, but 39 is not divisible by 2 in this scenario)
I wouldn't consider it extreme whatsoever, especially considering A) how good of shooters they are and B) the fantastic efficiency with which they did it.
DAF, with a rare troof bomb of goodness
Curry still took bad shots, but the fact he makes so many 3's makes up for the efficiency. He would be even better than he is if he just cut out the really bad chucks. He did that mostly in the regular season. He seems to resort to his bad habits, despite still putting up solid PPP when things get tough.
The consensus is that you're a got and no one gives a about your takes.
