The problem with the pels is that they kept on shooting jumpers in teh fourth..Allowed some key transition threes.
They should have slowed the game down. Maybe hack bogut or something..Anything to slow the game down.
Williams was awful.
Bogut didn't even play in the 4th. The rebounding was a disaster. No effort. Pelicans kept a 17 point lead while AD was on the bench and then blew it after AD entered the game.

Monty had a lot of time to at least kill the momentum and kill the pace..it didn't happen.

Who was the player guarding Curry whom, after his 1st chuck missed, failed to be on him like glue and instead floated around inside the arc for the rebound attempt? Thus Curry was not only open, but most importantly open beyond the arc. The only shot that could have tied it. Sure enough Golden gets the rebound and Curry is open as this guy has his head up his ass.

Monty is a bad coach, obviously, but Tyreke Evans shouldn't be your go-to perimeter guy..he only knows how to do one thing, no counter moves and can't shoot..
I didn't watch OT yet, but for the 4th, the offensive rebounds killed them and their offense was terrible down the stretch..if you're going to struggle rebounding anyways, might as well have Anderson in for offense..

Besides Popovich Carlisle, Kerr, Stevens, and Budenholzer (I guess you can include Van Gundy and Karl if you want) there's not many good coaches in the NBA.
Yeah, pop threw away game 6. Then he won again. Looks like a genuine genius move to set low expectations. So many nba coaches are good at this but only pop has done it at the highest level. Monty will get an extension. He'll get the eight seed again, but win one game. And he'll be a hero
