I have been connecting the dots, and I keep finding this sort of thing.


However, there is no evidence (fossil, anatomical, biochemical or genetic) that any creature did give rise, or could have given rise, to a different creature. In addition, by their absence in the fossil record for (supposed) millions of years along with the fact of their existence during the same time period, many animals such as the coelacanth demonstrate the principle that all creatures could have lived contemporaneously in the past.

No evidence supports the notion that birds evolved from dinosaurs, nor that whales evolved from terrestrial quadrupeds, nor that the human knee joint evolved from a fish pelvic fin. And the critically-positioned amino acids at the active sites within enzymes and structural proteins show that the origination of complex proteins by step-wise modifications of supposed ancestral peptides is impossible. In other words, birds have always been birds, whales have always been whales, apes did not evolve into humans, and humans have always been humans.

I could post something similiar to that for a solid year. But you know better, right?

this guy also makes the same fundamental mistake many do. he seems to understand that wolves gave rise to dogs, but then says we can't see a creature give rise to a different creature. yet the wolf to dog is just that. take those same incremental changes, and multiply them by millions of years. hundreds of thousands of more generations. its really the same concept, just over a longer period of time. apparently the author is a doctor who has some work in scientific journals (about surgery)... yet he wrote his anti-evolution book which (shockingly) isn't peer reviewed

this is just like when i kept repeating the example of the hail mary play in football. just like these random tidbits you like to post, i can cite tens or even hundreds examples of the hail mary play working successfully. but that doesn't mean it's a play that will work consistently.

what if i was trying to convince you "hey avante, i think NFL teams should run the hail mary EVERY single play, they'd get so many touchdowns!"... you'd be rational and tell me "listen spurraider, its not a smart move. you'll get way too many incompletions and interceptions, and its not a viable gameplan."

Can we prove that evolution is false without using the Bible? Certainly we can! Evolution is a scientific theory that stands or falls on the physical evidence. In fact, one can be an atheist, a person who doesn’t believe in God, and still not believe in evolution!

We do see changes within species, but we do not see any changes into other species. And, as mentioned, we see no evidence of gradual change in the fossil record either. Yet evolutionists continue to assume that transitional forms must have existed.
In Darwin’s landmark book On the Origin of Species there are some 800 subjective clauses, with uncertainty repeatedly admitted instead of proof. Words such as “could,” “perhaps” and “possibly” plague the entire book.
Evolution is still called a theory—a possible explanation or assumption—because it is not testable according to the scientific method, as this would require thousands or millions of years. Evolutionists will counter that a theory is not a mere hypothesis but is a widely affirmed intellectual construct that generally appears to fit all the facts. Yet evolution in no way fits all the facts available. Evidence does not support it—and in many respects runs counter to it.



I told you I have delved into the theory of evolution, and how after a dozen......there might have been....we are led to believe....just maybe.....there is a good chance.......dude, this is scientific fact? No it's not it's a lot of guess work and you know it.

the difference is science is flexible. it can correct itself, and always has. many of newtons "laws" of gravity have been found to fail.. newton's law of gravity failed to exlplain mercury's orbit, and it also fails at the molecular level.

this has since been replaced by einstein's working theory of general relativity. when something in science is found to be wrong, they accept it and move forward. the bible and other creationist sources are inflexible. the bible can't "change"... the words, the passages... they're fixed. so when something in the bible is shown to be inaccurate, it calls the whole thing into question. this is why religious groups try ever so strongly to deny evolution. because if evolution is even partly true, it calls the entire bible into question, and that scares them.

if science is wrong about something, they shrug their shoulders, adjust their approach and move forward. If a scientist is actually able to objectively prove that evolution is false, he'd be just as celebrated as a scientist who is able to objectively prove that evolution is true. there is no winning or losing side in science, only progress.

the same can't be said by religious sources, such as United Church of God
