From an LA Times writeup this morning: "It's strange how we have been looking for so long for the next Michael Jordan and haven't spent enough time checking out San Antonio."
Amazing, I was watching the game last night and made the same comments.
Two things caught my eye, the turn around jumper was vintage Jordan, and his turning a way from the double team and going baseline is also vintage Jordan

I have said before that when Kawhi is doing well on offense his game has recently started to emulate Jordan's game from '96-'98. He has the same type of post up moves Jordan had along with having the same exact fadeaway move. The Jordan fade way move is good for atleast 10-12 points that move can not being guarded.
of course I'm not gonna compare Leonard to kobe. He'd never run his big man out of town just so he could average over 30ppg. That's selfish kobe
Just finished reading that

Pop gave him a bunch of MJ postup tapes to work on during the off-season IIRC. Agree that his fadeaway and pull up look Jordanesque and of of course so do his gliding, one handed dunks.
Improving his handles are the next step in his evolution. He'll be even scarier once he gets that down tbh.
Kawhi's 1 handed alley-oop dunk was definately Jordanesque. Look up Michael Jordan 1 handed alley oop on youtube and you will see exactly what I mean.
Word on the street was Jordan used to cut slits between his fingers with a knife so scar tissue could form and he could palm the ball easier.
Kawhi Leonard has the finishing ability of Lebron James, athleticism of Michael Jordan, and shooting touch of Kobe Bryant.
I think Kawhi's athleticism is underrated in these parts. He could probably jump 1 foot higher. But then He'd smash his ing head on the board. He jumps high enough to get the job done. Case in point that danny green lob. That throw was ing bad. But Kawhi squared up and dropped it down. He needed more air and quarreled it with one hand.
