I find it interesting that so few people today seem to want to talk about the fact that if Davis had just made his 2 free throws, none of this would have happened!
I think they likely would have stopped play before an inbounds in that situation to review and be sure that they had the score right.
Some Spurs fans about it, but that's what happened immediately after Allen's 3 in Game 6 in 2013; the officials stopped the game to review the shot before allowing the Spurs to inbound the ball. It sucks in a way, but it's important that the teams play out the end game with the right score and time.

We've pointed it out, but as Spurs fans we have no right to laugh/discuss it. Our own players regularly miss free throws in that situation.
This is ova....
It was a good ride Pelicans....shame you guys couldn't get one win.
Honest question, does this sweep help pelicans more than being in the lottery and getting that missing piece???
Not so much the team as its fans imo.
Pelicans wouldn't get a lottery pick unless they somehow got lucky and landed a top 3 pick. The Rockets get the pick.
So they will continue to be mediocre and have junk players like pondexter. Tough break pelis
Fans cheered the team after the complete collapse from game 3. Clueless fans
The pick would have been 18 so its not likely they would find another starter.
Okay so I changed my mind about saying Toronto should be the team that becomes the Sonics. The Pelicans should be moved to Seattle. They will never do in New Orleans. And let's be honest, no one gives a about basketball in New Orleans. It's always been about football. I was surprised that the warriors completed the sweep. This could have been 2-2 after tonight if not for the game 3 choke job.
Get over it. Pelicans aren't moving anytime soon.
