The Spurs have been terrific at home. A loss today would be tough to recover from. I agree with re OP that the winner of today wins the series.
what and why?

it's the Spurs. when we need a win we can get it anywhere, anytime. Our season does not hinge on a game 4 of a first round series.
Disagree. If we lose this game, then this scenario will apply for Game 5.
This game won't decide the series. spurs can win in LA just as well as they can win here.
Worst case for spurs besides injury is they get pushed to 7 games. Which I doubt. And even then that game 7 would be a toss up.
The longer the series goes the more pressure and more tired legs for choke Paul and his gang of chokers
So saying this game will decide the series is plain dumb
You know what? I think you should take a break from starting threads. Spurs are the better team no matter where they play and if you can't see that by now, you aren't paying attention.
Now if OP had said today's game will decide whether its a short or long series then he'd have a great point. Lose today and 7 games is likely.
We don't want to lose today.
Thanks for the response. Enjoy your thoughts.

Spurs ain't winning in LA, got.
yeah ok since you're really smart apparently i'll take your word for it![]()
Team that goes up 3-1 almost always wins. It almost doesn't even qualify as a take, as usual it didn't require a thread. Apil just can't be stopped.
We already have...?
Clips in 5
I don't think this game decides the series. All todays game will do is decide who controls the series. The Spurs have shown they can win in LA even with a Hack-a-Jordan backfire, and the Spurs still not up to par from the 3 point line (missing wide open 3's with the teams best 3 point shooters taking the shots). If the Spurs win game 4, the Clippers are finished as the OP stated. If the Clippers win, the series is still very much in the air because the Clippers have the ability to play bonehead basketball when the pressure is on.
I agree here. If we lose this game its only 2-2. We will win game 6 no matter what imo, so that means we would have two chances to win in LA.
On the flipside, if the Spurs win today this series is over. This series is not over if we lose. The Clippers would still have to beat the Spurs two more times....think about that for a second.
It will be what it will be... sit back and enjoy the game
Clips in 6, that's all I'm saying.![]()
Got to win today if we want to win it all. We're not trying to win the series but the championship. Also this isn't like last year where we will have homecourt in game 7. Game 7 on the road is one of the toughest games to win.
Everything has been so up and down this season I'm not sure what to expect. Clips will be playing out of desperation though.
Amazing to me that longtime posters still don't know that EVAY is our resident female.
Not exactly, but if Spurs win they are almost there winning the series.
