...they are playing like ?
I thought it was free throw + sideout under 2 minutes if intentionallly fouled
...they are playing like ?
His defense was absolutely terrible though. I guarantee Baynes would have done a better job defending their bigs today than Tim.
When did tony make a few shots in a row in the 4th? In between there were 2 occasions of 2 missed free throws.
Making up. Kawhi hater.![]()
Clippers shot over 53%.... thats just pathetic for the Spurs defense.
I just wish he could still dribble the ball and walk at the same time. In the majority of his minutes he's either falling over or throwing the ball to the compe ion and if he's not doing either of those, he's committing really, really stupid fouls.
It's tiring.
yeah. it's freethrows and possession, but I thought you could choose the freethrow shooter too. I'd have to look into it.
Yeah today but I fully expect the to play much better next game. If you can't see this oh well...
People not talking about Diaw. Clippers ignoring him from 3 and he's 0-9 in 4 games. Last season was a 40% 3pt shooter, Even this year hit around 1/3 of his 3's. Alot of pump fakes and drives. Hasn't done much in terms of post scoring. His real plus in this series has been his passing and rebounding. Has had moments defensively.
It is such a tragedy that the Spurs won-t give an allout effort to take possession of home court. first new orleans, now this .
I though that was if a player got injured. If he can't shoot them than he can't return but they can pick his replacement.
Anyone bagging Duncan, what the ? Look at his ing leg, it's ed. He can't play defense like he used to. He used to have amazing lateral quickness (for a big) when he was younger, he just can't play defense like he used to anymore because of his leg. We're lucky he's even been able to get on the court and still play at this age. The Spurs need other guys stepping up on defense, unfortunately, they can't do it.
Not playing Baynes is a mistake. Like someone said, Pop seems to follow up some of his best coaching years with ing shocking ones the year after. No wonder his teams can't repeat. Overall coaching, personnel decisions and rotations seem to be his weakness following a great coaching season.
Baynes wouldn't have helped. He's about average defensively. He's a pretty good athlete in terms of vertical but his lateral movement is slow. Griffin would have burned him with the face up.
I've said numerous times throughout the season that I think his weight is affecting his outside shot. To me it looks like he's shooting his threes with all arms and no legs. It doesn't look like he's shooting any of his threes with any lift at all from his legs, just using his arms instead. His weight last season looked much better in the playoffs to me. I'd love to know what his weight is right now in comparison to this time last year in the playoffs.
It was more hyperbole than anything. Duncan was just that terrible on defense today, tbh.
yeah he blew two free throws there and i made note of it during the game, i didn't ignore it. he did score 6 points that 2 minute stretch including the missed FT's. he was 7-15 for the game and hardly the biggest problem on the floor. and in case you missed it... here
I would have just used him for some spot minutes to rest Duncan and send him out there to lay some hard fouls. I wouldn't have played him much. This team just needs some toughness out there instead of that pussy Splitter playing like a girl.
Baynes isn't right for this series. Spurs have to have spacing Playing 4 bigs who can't space the floor plus Cojo and Parker (who can't or don't shoot 3's well enough) and Green being a poor 3pt shooter on the road along with Manu this season. Add in poor FT shooting and the Spurs sketchy play from Parker and Manu. Bonner makes more sense as the 4th big. Its really only about 10 minutes of floor time but Bonner is more likely to be a plus in that time.

Blake Griffin did something to his left shoulder there at the end. Couldn't use both arms to inbound the ball.
He blew 4 freethrows. 2 occasions smh.
And for the quote no we are not running our offense with Kawhi moreThe only significant touches he had in the 4th were when we were already down by 16 pts
All I see is them getting blown the out until they crawl to the off season. If you think "Believe" will help their ty play, have at it.
2-2 heading for L.A. game 5
I think the Spurs (except for Green & Splitter), played well esp Kawhi.
What went wrong with Green? Just lost his stroke..0-6 unusualI really have so much confidence in him, now I'm worried..3 games in-a- row guys.
But I still want him to play 30 min on the floor that Beli can't just replace him.
IMO this game is on :pop. Bad game plan. Too much Splitter. Too much offense for Parker(shld've played more PG)..
Well, I hope I am right. If not. let's just hope for a better SPurs game 5.. In.Lala land. () ..with the Clipper's confidence back on, it will be a big battle for a 3-2 adv for both teams.
have you not watched the spurs in 2015?
serious question
???
Both games we lost this series were due to Kawhi being ignored for stretches in the 4th.
The offense is still if Manu and Patty don't bail out the 2nd unit. The starting unit still depends on TP and TD pnrs. What are you watching?
