or Kawhi did not miss 5 shots in that qtr. Even TD & Splitter 0-3(correct me if I'm wrong) . Hard to recover against #1 scoring team like Clippers if we trail early...

At least Paul and Rivers will pass him the ball when defensive scrubs guarding him, a thing the Spurs couldn't do in all 4th quarter.
And it would be the best way for the Spurs.
Being one of the worst team in the West without him and hoping to draft the next Tim Duncan because rebuilding through the draft was the only Spurs successful way.
So a win-win situation. the Clips cap space.
