Historically the past few seasons, Spurs have had memorable Game 5s
Leonard will have his first poor shooting game and his legacy will come into question. Numerous Barnes threads will be bumped or started on how he's owning Leonard.
My head says the Clippers will win Game 5, but I can't help but shake the feeling the Spurs will pull of an otherworldly performance and bounce back in a huge way.
Are we going straight edge here? No girls at all?
If game 4 was physical what is 5 going to be. I saw the ref list but wasn't familiar with those guys.
English translation:
Wake up guys , we are playing like we were afraid of them.
I'm not talking about offense , i'm talking about defense.
We're talking about things we're not able to do : We don't defend on pick&rolls , we let them hit 3 points shooters , we don't take any rebounds , we're not even able to put the ball in the game! We have to play more physical ! Against Slovenia we played physical ! We're are not playing physical now! They're dominating us because they think we are ty ! And you can see it on their faces : they think we are ty.
I don't give a s*it , even if we lose , we play hard and proud ! If we lose , it is what it is , but we played hard, not like this , we're getting fuc*ed.
My man Danny is gonna light it up tomorrow tbh...
Bold prediction, Spurs win a one possession game and Paul misses a shot that couldve sent the game to OT
For those who worry about such things, Game 5 is likely the Scott Foster/Bill Kennedy game in this series. Given tonight's assignments and all that has come earlier in this series, the only other likelihood seems to be Tony Brothers, but Foster called the game in Portland on Saturday while Brothers was in Boston on Sunday.
Zach Zarba as a crew chief might be a very outside possibility, but that would be very surprising to me.
Green will show on D and Mills and Gino carry big on O. Come on Go Spurs Go!
How do you rate those refs for the road team?
Brothers would be not good
Scott Foster is the worst. His last Spurs game was that storm @houston I believe. But we did win that game. Still seems like horribly officiated games seem to follow him around imo.
SPURS WIN BY 15 and then come home and win by 25.
Spurs will start hitting shots and when they do we have too many shooters for them to defend.
Spurs win series.
When then take on Houston or James Harden. We put KL on him the whole series and wait for Memphis in the WCF.
I can't see any hope for the spurs at Staple Center. can you?
Green sucked the first 4 games of last years playoffs, then went on a rampage.Hopefully he and Beli get hot from deep.
Manu,do something.
I won't watch the game tomorrow and probably just have a glance at the box score after the spurs get beat up
Danny Green is overrated
When it's a Clippers home game, the Staples Center lights are on making the venue very well lit and easy to see unlike a Lakers home game. Taking all that into account, you would have to be blind not to see any hope for the Spurs winning.
I'm so not used to hearing Tony speak French.![]()
I expect this to be a close game, and if it is, free throw percentage is going to be important. That fact makes me nervous.
