Every game has its own iden y. In the playoffs, it all starts over when the ball is thrown up and the game begins. Previous history, statistics, etc. don't mean a thing. The winner of the game will be the team that makes the fewest mistakes and executes better. It may come down to 2 or 3 plays or one team may be off and get blown out.
Game 4 was a circus of errors and mental lapses on the Spurs behalf. Couple that with atrocious 3 pt shooting, excellent and unexpected bench play from Austin Rivers, and you lose the game. If the Spurs get back to doing what they do best - sharing the ball, hitting the good to great shots and competing with the appropriate physicality, they will win the game. If not, they will lose and be forced to come home and win an elimination game in order to extend the series.
I expect nothing but the best from the Spurs. Let's do this.
