there are many times when I wish Pop would call out the officiating, but seeing this typical complaining from Rivers, makes me appreciate Pop taking the high road. Just pathetic on Tom Rivers part.

True. I remember the 2006 series against the mavs, game 3 or 4, not sure - the one in which Duncan got fouled out because Dirk stepped on his foot and Dirk had like 25 free throws himself in the second half. I thought Pop was going to go ballistic at the refs but in the presser he said something along the lines of : wow, they were really good, we need to play much better to win. I was like wtf Pop, you got robbed ffs.
Man is bad today with Harden Lebron and durant getting the royal red carpet to the FT line, but that 2006 series with Dirk was some next level . Mavs were getting like 45 ing bs FTs a game and Dirk shoots them at 90%. I was dying back then. brutal.
