"He's a consummate pro," Rivers told Yahoo Sports. "He never gets too high or low. It's like he's the easy button they have on that old [Staples] commercial. He's their easy button. You knew tonight he was going to come and play. On nights where they don't need him, he's cool with that, too."

That girl in your sig is some sort of sexy. Who is that?
I must have missed where Magic Johnson and Pat Riley won a 5th le together to put them in the same category of greatness as Duncan/Pop already.
Raquel Pomplun son
I can't imagine the NBA without the godfather. Spur fans know how much he will be missed, unfortunately the rest of the NBA won't realize what he's done for the game and how great he is until he's gone. The greatest and least appreciated player of his generation. A true legend of legends.
It was fun to see Tim with six or so seconds left, about to inbound the ball, just sitting on scorer's table with his hands in his lap, swinging his legs, waiting for the ref.
Looked like he was at a picnic--not a down-to-the-wire playoff game.
Got to confess that I was damn worried when Timmy was the one to inbound the ball on the last play.
I think including the preseason opener, Timmy had 3 or 4 Turnobili moment on the last inbound play.
REJECTED BY DUNCAN!! REJECTED BY DUNCAN!!
How did that happen
Can't Blake Griffin jump over cars- Yet a one legged 17 year veteran stuffs him
Beautiful play. Timmeh stuffs the ball in Griffin's face then stuffs Griffin's body into the hardwood. Boom.
SO True!!!
goddamn...that was the most hype i've been watching a basketball game in forever
Yeah, but will he get an endorsement? Rings are nice, but compared to a snazzy Kia commercial....
The whole Clippers team are about to drive their Kia off the deck of an aircraft carrier and find what their limitations are.
I am sure HEB pays him quite well.![]()
I really hope Timmy moves into coaching. It'll suck not seeing him on the sideline at least.
Please be a coach Timmy, learn behind Pop/Messina (or whoever's the head coach after Pop retires) and take over when they're done. You're 25 and 15 years younger than them respectfully. He could have a long great career as a coach.
I think Tim will take on a Hakeem role with the Spurs. He will be there to mentor the young guys, but I don't see him wanting to travel bc his kids. I see him retiring next year and taking it easy for the next 4 to 5 years. Maybe then he might consider a more serious role.
Chills, bruh.
This, too.
