What KILLS the Spurs against the Rockets is stopping transition 3s. They wreck the Spurs when they're in transition.
Houston is the team I fear most. Harden is a ing beast.

Lest all ye Spurs fans forget how Harden almost single handedly destroyed us the last time we met in the playoffs.
Kawhi will do a good job against him. The xfactor will.be how Terrence Jones, Josh Smith, Ariza and Dwight play. Plus the Rockets' ability to hit free throws since Pop will no doubt hack guys. Should be interesting.
Diaw should be able to force Josh Smith to shoot jumpers. Dwight Howard is definitely a mismatch, but DeAndre Jordan should get us ready for him. Trevor Ariza doesn't scare me bc Green should be all over him. It's nice to have Terry and Prigioni to hide Parker on. I'd rather focus on right now though, we still have another game to win to close the Clips.
This doesn't even ing matter with regard to a potential 2015 series with HOU, tbh.
Different situation, different teams, different role for Harden, irrelevant
He doesn't have Durant and Westbrook to bail him out. He's still a beast but Wing Stop can contain him. I'm more worried about Howard considering our bigs outside of Timmy have been trash
Dwight and Harden are going to get theirs. The Spurs need to shut down their role players. Especially transition 3s. Let's beat the Clips first though.
I thought game 1 of the second round was Monday regardless of if it went 6 or 7.
Yep, its monday. Rockets are selling tickets for Monday, time tbd.

damn we better win tomorrow or AT BEST this would be similar to NOLA series, plane might even break down again in LA
Changes nothing. Finish this on Thursday.
If we win Thursday, when will the rockets series start?
edit- never mind
The hack a Josh and Dwight wont work this time. McHale pulled both guys down the stretch for small ball.
All we gotta do is hit our three's. Live by the three die by the three though.
I think it'll come down to whether Houston's role players hit their 3s. If we do a good job of limiting Terry/Brewer/Ariza/Smith, we'll win the series. Let's just hope Brewer and Smith shoot their averages, and don't have fluke performances. Brewer isn't even a 30% shooter from deep, but he'll randomly have games where he doesn't miss. Same goes for Josh Smith.
Harden and Howard alone won't be enough to beat us, assuming we're playing somewhat well offensively.
Had the Spurs passed the Clippers, I wouldn't worry about Harden much. I don't want to see Brewer's open 3-pointers and Howard-Smith high-low combination.
lol Timmy will on you if he does this
diaw will have a field day
You guys have a great team. We're lucky you're missing Donatas Motiejūnas but it's still going to be a tall task for us to win that series.
Looking forward to a great series![]()
